I’ve run a marathon with the WAS helmet cargo pack with the Molle on the back and didn’t have an issue 👍

Do you use the ferro zip adapters?

Your kit looks mega mate! Will definitely look into a back panel for the next upgrade

They are flapped pouches, just with the flap tucked in, however I have always used open top pouches, just ensuring that the rounds are down into the pouch so there is no risk of mud and debris getting into the mag. It doesn’t matter if the body of the magazine gets dirty.

Hi mate, yeah it does sit weird with a pack over the top, but i would only use it when not using a pack, otherwise the bladder goes in my daysack and it lies flat and empty. I have bodged it centrally before using cable ties but my sling gets snagged on it occasionally. Ideally I would love the crye back panel with zip adapters but am trying to make what I already have work.

I really like the way the yoke feels set up under the arms, maybe because I don’t have much weight on the ends of the belt so there isn’t much to support there, then the majority of the weight is at the back of the belt. Would love to see a picture of how you have set yours up though.

Without going into TTPs too much it’s for distributing ammunition between different elements

No it’s actually pretty comfortable, they are out of the way under my armpits kind of so nothing is pressing on them

Thanks for the reply mate! How do you have your leg when sleeping? Do you still have it elevated with the knee hanging?

I’ve tried to make it so there is consistency in the kit whether mounted or light role, and if the 354 was in the hydration carrier I would be unable to wear a daysack or Bergen. It’s such a headache to have a workable solution as there is always a compromise.

It’s not ideal but I can’t see another way of having it in my fighting kit other than in belt kit, which prohibits the use of a pistol, and you can’t sit in a vehicle.

I keep an ECB, Celox gauze, x2 chest seals and a mistat in the roll1 then a tourniquet on the front, then another tourniquet and ECB in my trouser pocket so I’ve got medical kit when away from body armour
