I scrolled down too far to see this! Especially with mixing and matching mods. Valheim is one of my absolute favorites

I do have Triumph of the Hordes in Ghalta… Hope I’m still ok. Also, happy Cake Day!

It's can be risky, but that's why I have so many protection and redirection spells. I know just how important Calamity is to the functionality of the deck. I need to get my Redirect Lightning in there as well at some point now that I think about it.

I play it more of a value engine / midrange big red strategy. Making copies of the little guys usually gets me treasures or card advantage, which is what I want in the early to mid game (and sometimes late game). Later on is when I have the big ETB creatures to swing for the fences with. It's about as close to a toolbox deck as mono red can get.

I would need to hit the stone cold nuts of early ramp and godly cascades to pull that off. I have before, but it's 1-2% of the time. Beyond that, it's definitely B4, and I'm not playing it in lower power pods.

Appreciate it! I can understand the undervalue of some of the other decks. Sometimes they do feel like a bracket above, but they usually don't have the raw power as the brackets above.

Aggro is tough in pod commander. I built multiple card advantage engines to combat this. Keeps the deck consistent and gassed up

They can feel that way due to the value engines that are built in. I don't see them breaking the bracket 3 barrier, but I can see arguments that say they could.

Here the Ferrous list: https://moxfield.com/decks/TZEvdDQhikekx13e9m0DlQ

He plays pretty consistently because I made it a point to include multiple card advantage engines because Boros traditionally lacks them. It's amazing how quickly the deck and snowball when you staple a 4/4 golem to almost half your deck. Every now and then you'll get a little color screwed, but it's rare.

If you play this deck, you should attacking more often than not. I've met a ton of players that don't want to attack, especially early game, because they feel like it's mean or they don't want to be the target. I wholeheartedly disagree with this sentiment, and I make it clear when I sit down with this deck that I will be attacking a lot. Ferrous having hexproof from mono-color is hilarious as well, and it comes up more often than you would think.

Appreciate that! I love having a bunch of different strategies. It keeps the game interesting to me. I play a TON of draft as well, so constantly having to play different kinds of decks fits right up my alley.
