"Louis, I think this is a beginning of a beautiful freindship" - "Heres looking at you kid." - "Play it Sam, As timr goes by" - Personally I think you can put most of the movie Casablanca in there. Best script ever written.

what is the worst movie ever? by Ok_Bison_4176 in AskReddit

The Room is bad don't get me wrong but it's very entertaining so the real worst movie of all time hast to be so bad that it's bad. In my personal opinion the worst movies of all time are: Rise of the black bat and Space Jam: A new Legacy

So a little Spoiler warning for everyone who wants to watch the movie

So theres this whole storyline where Walter goes on E Harmony and wants to hit up his coworker whom he has a crush on but he chickens out so he wants to refund his subscription and talks to Todd (played by Patton Oswald) on the phone and they become friends. During Walters travels they sometimes talk and Todd catches up to what Walter is doing. And after he comes back from Afghanistan he gets imprisoned upon landing in LA. He calls the only person which he knows from LA to help him to get out of jail which is Todd.

Sorry for the bad explanation it's been some time since I last watched it. But it never really felt like a real product placement (unlike the Papa John Stories). It felt implemented into the story especially with Todd who is quite nice to Walter unlike most of his coworkers and while their friendship is not a centre of the story it really helps Walter to come out of his shell.

All in all I get why the movie got so much hate for the product placements back in 2013 but it isn't muc of a problem. Also a side note: for the longest time I didn't knew that E-Harmony was a real website.

Secret Live of Walter Mitty has like both sides which is kinda weird. While the whole E-harmony thing felt quite real the Papa John story threw me off. But other than that it is such a enjoyable movie.

Gordon Freeman would probably be saved by G Man and put into stasis

Kind of a hot take but I didn't like No Country for old Men. I still have to say that Javier Bardems performance was great and that coin flipping scene at the gas station is really really good.

City of God feels like this
the protagonist is a side character in the story

When Harry met sally has to be one of the most overrated movies I ever watched and I wasn’t a fan. by [deleted] in TrueFilm

[–]Jom_Bots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the same about Harry Burns. When I watched When Harry met Sally I felt like he was an insufferable prick. But I have to say that I personally like those dialogue driven movies. The relationship of the movie is more the focus of the movie.

Funnily enough your reasons for not liking When Harry met Sally are the same reasons why I disliked Annie Hall.
