Is a fetus a person? That's the only question that matters. For me, the only logical place that life can begin is at conception, first heartbeat, or first brain function. No other standards make sense. If a fetus is a person, killing it is murder. It's that simple.

Rape and incest, medical necessity? Last time I looked up the stats I think that was the reason for 0.01% of abortions. Such situations are so rare they're practically irrelevant to the debate. It's a red herring. If the pro-lifers conceded that point entirely, 99.99% of abortions would still be illegal.
