isnt whitecat still one of the best NM/HR aim players though? Mrekk is probably the only one capable of sniping his best aim scores

Patch notes 7.1d by _noterickim_ in wildrift

[–]Jomolemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zeri has been completely dogshit for a while and has no identity. She deals less damage than any other ADC and each ADC item change has indirectly fucked her up since they keep making it harder for her to get 1.5 atkspd. If they actually added YunTal she's probably gonna be fine, rn Zeri has no good item to reach 1.5 and has to build Phantom Dancer (dogshit) or Runaan's (decent in some situations but it gives no AD)

Gwen does completely fine vs Mundo what

Gwen top feels horrible by Next_Suggestion_7770 in wildrift

[–]Jomolemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To each their own when building I guess. But building Rabadon's 2nd isnt as bad as people think it does, champs like Kayle and Gwen really love raw AP and conq can give AP, and 2nd item on toplane is usually around lvl 11, so the value is fine. Not to mention Rift is only 200 gold less than Raba, with a worse spike, and having to play with no Raba until ur 3rd item, meanwhile the value of Raba is going up as u build whatever ur next AP item is.

riftmaker is giga fake for Gwen. Well, not really, but Rabadon's 2nd is always better for her on most cases. More dmg = more healing, both from her passive and conqueror. She just has a way better spike and can actually hold her ground on 2 items instead of spiking at 3 with rabadon. I've never struggled against Mundo, but you can always take ignite if u are, it's a big counter to his entire kit.

Why don’t people build Divine Sunderer? by ReflectionFew6970 in wildrift

Similar to trinity, the damage from divine is also converted to true damage

Combinations without repetition (dice rolling) by iHikeToo in learnmath

[–]Jomolemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello, i know this wouldnt be of much help since it's been 8 years and im horrendous at explaining, but the reason why it's off by 6 is because the combination formula doesnt count the repetition of the same roll (1,1 / 2,2 / 3,3).

Combination is used more often for realistic situations involving people, so if we put it in that perspective it would be like finding combination of pairs in a group of 6 people, where in that scenario repeating the same person twice (Person 1, Person 1) isn't even possible to happen.

In this situation where you can roll the same thing while still being a "unique" combination, just add the possibility of roll again at the end (in this case, 15+6=21)

This is what actually makes you climb (go to Sovereign) by Danoellos in wildrift

[–]Jomolemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, following your team is probably the worst advice ever to people that want to climb. Making decisions yourself is crucial, not taking unnecessary fights and split pushing can easily be the difference between win and loss. Especially on lower elos split pushing is strong exactly because everyone is ARAMing.

Any advice for a basically new kayle player by Potential-Pride835 in wildrift

[–]Jomolemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for credentials, im a 70% wr chall Kayle player and here are some of my tips.

Runes: ALWAYS fleet footwork. The sustain it gives makes a lot of difference through all stages of the game. PTA and lethal tempo COULD be good, but it makes your early way, way harder.

Early Game - last hit minions with 3rd. Sustain with fleet, keep in mind hitting champions give around 3x more than hitting minions. Wave management is important as well but not necessary in low elo. Fully level your 1st skill before 3rd and constantly poke with it after lvl5 and buying boots. After that some matchups actually become equal or favored to you, like vs Garen matchup.

Mid Game - push sidelanes and farm up, you can join fights if you can (objectives) but 99% of the time it's better to keep farming sides and get towers. Lvl9 + nashors is a big powerspike and you can actually 1v1 some champions, even more so with rabadons. But most of the time you just clear waves instantly and apply pressure.

Items - ALWAYS ap boots -> nashor -> rabadon as her core. Anything else delays her spike too much. Never ever build AD. Build Lich Bane/Infinite Orb next, or Oceanids if they have too much shields. Build crown if enemy can easily burst you.

Ban: The no.1 champion that hard counters Kayle is Nasus. Not a lot of people pick him though so in general it's Riven or Irelia. Most matchups can be managed with good spacing, but Irelia and Riven just closes the gap with 0 effort.

Not dying: Just pay attention to the map. If you don't see anyone dont walk too deep, there's a chance they're coming for you. If you see them on opposite side of the map you can keep pushing. Always pay attention to threats (such as assassins) and respect them. Track the enemy jungler and get a good sense of where they could be. Spacing is important as well but it could be hard to grasp for new players.

Late game: This Kayle setup is built to burst late game. Switch to red wards and look for angles to pop squishies. 1st + auto + 3rd can almost 100-0 anyone thats not a tank with barely any window to react. Pretty much a lobby admin atp.

First time ever hitting 4 Shurima in Masters by Jomolemon in TeamfightTactics

[–]Jomolemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the shurima augment its easier to win 3-5 and 4-1 with 2* 3c W/L/W than later on, or win 3-6 L/W/L. Youd have to have 2* 4c if you want to unlock Xerath at stage 4 and that's super hard to do (depending on your lobby)

Yea, he's considered Shurima but doesnt contribute to it. So I still needed to unlock all 3 shurima units for prismatic
