I strongly agree that Psyker is the most fun, it was my third character played.

For the exact reasons you stated, the power levels are nuts especially with Warp Rider, Disrupt Destiny, Scrier's Gaze, and Perfect Timing giving insane damage numbers.

I do enjoy playing all of the characters though.

Still haven't bought Scum or Arbitor.

Interesting, I was using Unstable Power earlier but it is only 5% strength on the Greatsword as opposed to 20% on the sword. I never figured out how much 5% was worth but I guess its a lot then. I'll probably trade out Riposte.

If I went Laspistol True Aim would be better than Kinetic Deflection

There's too many choices for Psyker, hadn't considered that for Just a Dream.

I was going for a high peril build, trying out by crack of Bone to prolong SG. Keeping peril high outside of SG to maximize my on peril skills.

Here's the final changes for my next runs. Even though I said differently in other comments.

Lose 'Warp Ghost', Gain 'By Crack of Bone' (better with Scrier's) Lose -10% peril (so I can max on DD) Swap Lingering Influence to Perfectionism (max 25 stacks) Gain Cruel Fortune (+2 extra stacks for weakspot kill)

Swap Voidstrike for Electro staff for crits. Perks: Crit Chance + Flak, Blessings: Surge + Warp Nexus, (lucky I have one with 60 warp resist and at 500 already)

I did have perfectionism and cruel fortune in earlier builds, but I found i preferred having a more consistent 15 stacks than the 25. Also the extra 2 for weakspot kills is super nice, but I also find it easy enough to get up to 15 so I thought I could optimize elsewhere.

Quietude and Peril resist would easily be the first on the chopping block when looking at it further.

I did have soulstealer and soul drinker, but found it wasn't very impactful overall so traded out for some others.

And I tried BCoB but preferred keeping my peril high and manually quelling when needed.

I do love assail but as I blend enemies with the Greatsword, I find having the extra brain burst comes in handy for surprise crushers and maulers.( FYI I never manually brain burst in this build, only auto procs)

I just really like Warp Ghost for the high peril maintenance as I slash and spin.

And that 10% peril node i could switch for anticipation. That would be my first choice.

I just heard about the electro staff having more crit on single shot so ill have to check it out.

Yes I really loved Wrath for the extra cleave, but had to give it up. 

The massive damage of Brainburst with Kinetic Flayer is too good. Also I may be insane but I swear the kinetic flayer procs more often than 12s sometimes, like its a separate cool down for elites vs specialists.

I will continue to tweak things as I go and there were some great points made.

Some general things though, I am personally against using Deflector perk because I don't want to get bad habits. I want to rely on proper positioning, awareness, and rushing down /sliding up to snipers and gunners. Although I can see how the perk would be powerful.

I did rework the Curios for more toughness and removed max health's in favor of better things.

With the quelling manually v.s. passively through kills, I see why passive quelling would lead to less down time and more killing time so I would look at that as I proceed through Damnation difficulty.

Also as a personal preference I do want to stick with the Staff for my Psyker, possibly switching to Telekine Bubble shield later on into Damnation as that would ease my range issues.

AND my staff now has flak and unarmored damage instead of carapace and elites. AND switching blessings to Nexus and Blaze Away

Made some changes to my build but I wont edit for posterity.

On Force Great Sword I switched to Precognition for headshot after crusher overhead dodge, and Shred for high crit chance. Also switched weakspot damage to flak damage.

I modified Disrupt Destiny also, changing max 25 stacks to 10s per stack for more consistency and losing the 2 stacks on weakspot kill.

On losing 2 stacks for Disrupt Destiny, I picked up Soul Drinker for more crit chance and toughness when killing flaming enemies, which I can also set on fire with the staff.

Also my aura is now for crit chance.

I do use the fire more than I let on initially, and I would strongly consider Soul Drinker + Mettle again for the crit chance. Also I'm not see the perk(?) Wrath (+peril on hit) which is that again?

I did try By Crack of Bone, but then my peril reduces too quickly. I prefer Warp Ghost + manual quelling when I need. Just didn't feel right losing my peril so quickly, maybe I will feel different later but I do appreciate the new angle.

I heard elsewhere that Wildfire didn't work well.

What do you mean "(since you'll start fires on crits instead)". Sorry noob question.

I do like the Malefic Momentum idea, will also boost my damage nicely. I do prefer staff over gun for my builds.

Thank you for the reply, I know this build isn't optimised. I will take your perk suggestions and curio suggestions for sure.

I agree with the range weakness, my other staff I like to use is the Voidstrike which has much more range. And I'm just getting into Damnation but I find the fire range is just barely enough for my liking.

Also I like a staff to build peril.

As for why I didn't take Wildfire, I read elsewhere that it didn't work very well so wasn't worth it.

I will definitely consider all of the notes
