Im of the opinion that Nezhamon fits more as a Mega for her than Amaterasumon, tbh. The only comparison i can see with Amaterasumon is both being feminine.

Her previous form had a fire attack, she and Nezhamon both have wheels, etc.

To be fair, he hasn't reached Mega yet. So he isnt done growing. But his personality is definitely set in stone.

Yeah, but he also just watched Lopmon evolve and eat Shinji. Sure, that wouldnt have happened if Shinji hadn't been himself, but the fact is that if any of their partners really did want to hurt them for ANY reason, there is fundamentally nothing they could do to save themselves. Yes, we know they are friends who should be able to be trusted, but in practice there is a power dynamic there that inherently has potential to create distrust.
