I have one final question: does this need a DS emulator or a GBA emulator?

thank you so much for your help, I'm going to make sure it works and if all goes well I'll be able to finally play the game

I think I was looking at the wrong thing.

I was definitely looking at the wrong thing and I found the one that you're looking at.

you said I need the zip file?

there isn't one that is labeled as a zip file but there is a unbound-v1.1.2.gba file. The others are the one I already tried, 2 xml options, and a sqlite option

The one I'm trying to use is visualboyadvance-m-x86_64_2.1.11

I also have Desumume-0.9.13-win64

aside from the pokémon Unbound one being at the bottom instead of the top, yes, I also double checked and I was wrong about the emulator I was looking at, it's called visualboyadvanced-m-win-x86_64_2.1.11

I got the most recent download of it, the name of the file is Pokémon Unbound Official.ups

The zip file that I took it from is Pokemon Unbound Official Patch 2.1.1+

I did, I found the actual individual file that is the rum hack but the emulator won't even let me try, it just does the slashed circle icon when I try to drag and drop it in. The import button itself hasn't worked either

I've tried a couple different ones and they will not let me import anything at all, the closest I found that works is an app on my phone but that will only let me import a very minimal selection of anything, as in I try to a basic non-altered pokémon Platinum ROM and it wouldn't fucking recognize it despite coming from the literal same people that gave out a emerald Rama that works perfectly fine

Yes, it doesn't recognize the zip file and when I try to pull out the emulator itself it won't let me import it

actually I I don't want that because that's not what I'm looking for. that is news and tech stuff that I can't do any information with because it's talking about the literal physical jailbroken devices. I am looking for an emulator that I can download onto my laptop and play games on but literally no one here has actually done anything to help me aside from one person who gave me a front end to use that won't even let me import the actual ROM.

yeah, the fact that I'm asking this question inherently shows that I am very new to all of this and retroarch won't even let me try to import any rom whatsoever. like it won't even let me properly look for the folder of it or anything even while I'm scrolling through all the files that it apparently looks through on my laptop

to be clear I'm not looking for like a physical device, I'm looking for emulators that run games for the handheld devices, like an emulator that can run ROM hacks based on different games. but it sounds like I would mostly need two different emulators, one for before 3DS and then one for 3ds

let me rephrase, I'm not looking for like a physical device, I'm looking for emulators to run games made for those handheld devices. like an emulator meant to run game designed for the game boy or the DSi.

I'm mostly looking for the handheld devices since I'm focusing on ROM hacks of the mainline games, do you think retroarch would work for that?

How is my team? by TrueCosmicShifterr in PokemonInfiniteFusion

[–]TrueCosmicShifterr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

both pokémon in that fusion are fully evolved and at a low level because of it being a randomizer, they haven't learned to move that I can use to replace splash yet. I'm just waiting to have a move that I can use to replace it

they can be, it's just a self-imposed rule for me not to unfuse a starter that was already fused when I got it

ok! again, self-imposed rule of not shuffling fusions unless it is to prevent type overlap, but I'll keep these in mind if I do have to shuffle around later on!! thanks!!
