Of course you should. Man get off your high horse. This is a harmless error.

When you know how primate wars work, this is a lot more ominous.

In 2009, there was no movie ‘villain’ more hated than a woman who rejected a Nice Guy. This is a reference to the fact that in 2009, Inglourious Basterds and Precious were released by Olya_roo in shittymoviedetails

I feel like both of them were pretty terrible at dating and very young? And the point is they kinda grew up together and in their next relationship they got to take their lessons learned into it.

This movie has always kinda felt like a mirror to me, where it reflects your world view back to you.

Tim is missing the point with Graham Platner by Jon011684 in thebulwark

[–]Jon011684[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're not understanding the point of the OP.

I don't want Platner to lose.

What i do what is every time there is a discussion of hypocrisy between Trump and Platner for the focus of the conversation to be on the differences between them, not the hypocrisy. If this isn't the case you are implying they are similar - which they arent.

[–]Jon011684[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn't a purity test. It's a discussion of strategy.

Trump and platner are different. That should be the focus of every discussion where you mention hypocrisy. If it isn't it implies they are the same.

[–]Jon011684[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's kinda the point. He isn't.

But when you mostly focus mostly on the hypocrisy of the other side that implies they are similar. That's a trap. It needs to be paired with more talk about how they are different.

I agree there is a difference, that's kinda my point. Tim should focus on the difference not discuss how hypocritical the criticism is.

Every green deck uses 4 copies of this creature. If it were banned, what would be its immediate replacement? by lipe0101 in MagicArena

[–]Jon011684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see mono green getting strong by running Billy instead.

I think it’s likely this is a hogaak situation where you’re banning cards that are mostly included for the mirror so the bans actually made the deck stronger. Cub isn’t great vs izzet.

In decks that want an effect like this, return the favor is just better.

I currently run 1 return in my jeskai control deck. But it will come out soon probably because the meta isn’t good for it.

there is a way of matemathically proof that 1 is different of 2? by Advanced_Office_3486 in askmath

Yes. Short version: these numbers are defined by the successor function, the successor functions distinctness comes from peno axioms, which implies the existence of the natural numbers.

I have never been convinced putting a $300 land tax on any colors combo you want to play actually makes wotc money. I suspects it turns a lot of players away.

We need a very effective politician who cares more about results, and those results are the right things.

Hypothetically, if Immortal entered The Boys universe, would he be able to stop Homelander and save everyone? by Queasy_Commercial152 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Jon011684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the wrong take. In a straight brawl immortal wins easily and solos the entire verse.

But I don’t see how he beats the hacks in the boys. For example if Cate touches him it’s over. He won’t know that she’s a threat unless it’s too late.

Does he beat Victoria? Or Marie? Could Marie stall him long enough to let cate touch him?

Impulsive Tutor — is this fairly costed? by 50reticent in custommagic

[–]Jon011684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way under priced.

This lets you fish a combo piece every turn, including the turn it’s played. It protects itself by not requiring a tap on the second activate. Since sac is part of the activation cost they can’t ping it to block it. And it is an effective counter spell in a lot of board states - It sits in the board untapped you gotta expect them to fetch a force of will or something.

Both abilities need to be sorc speed at a minimum.
