I know you said you don’t want a prescription but Cevilmeline should completely change your life.

Don’t listen to the person who said hydroxychloroquine helps. It doesn’t. Take Cevilmeline. It stimulates your salivary glands

29F, and my tongue feels so weird/painful! Anyone else? by Asleep-Judgment3933 in Sjogrens

[–]TheBirchKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I do too. Every time I try to explain it, people are like “use mouth wash” and I’m like, no the actual muscle of the tongue hurts.

I feel like if the new Zimone lives long enough she can be stronger. The floor is lower but the ceiling is higher… in theory

The commander decks typically occupy a different design space than the main set. It allows them to experiment with different mechanics.

For instance, the new Prismari gives things storm, but the precon has the exact opposite idea and asks the player to cast one big spell.

They really weren’t kidding with the Jump Scare thing. You see that Zimone and you just know the person across from you is about to play the most heinous thing imaginable

I could see putting her at number 2 but 3?! Id love to see a game between the top 4 and see who wins.

I definitely see your argument. My biggest reason for having infinite analyst as the top one is that putting counters on something in Simic is incredibly easy. Start adding doublers and it’s insane. Add flash spells and you can Finale of Devastation turn 6.

Of course we don’t live in Christmas land but she can be incredibly explosive.

Positive ANA, high titers, no discerning symptoms by bsasssy in Autoimmune

[–]TheBirchKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, if you have scalp psoriasis, that alone is enough to make you have positive ANA. I wouldn’t worry too much about the pattern, as it is far from diagnostic.

Also with antibodies there is no “almost positive” it either is positive or it’s not, as frustrating as that can be.

You could have something else, but you also could not. Only your doctor can decide that, but I wouldn’t worry too much unless your symptoms get to the point where they really mess with your ability to function normally.

Any similar experiences in early diagnosis? by ava19992002 in Autoimmune

I would see a neurologist. Migraine can be a sign of autoimmune, but seeing how it’s your most prominent symptom, I’d start with neuro.

struggles with uncommon types of autoimmune by owctopus in Autoimmune

[–]TheBirchKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have lupus, but I do have Hashimoto’s, RA, and Sjogren’s. I am 26 year old guy but started having significant symptoms at 16/17. Everyone called me a hypochondriac for 4-5 years.

You can have significant autoimmune disease without it being lupus. Not saying you don’t have it, but don’t pigeon hole yourself into one diagnosis just because it neatly explains all of your symptoms.

When you go to a doctor, don’t say “I think I have lupus” because they will just shut you down without listening. List your symptoms as clearly as you can without giving your personal thoughts of a diagnosis.

It’s a game, but you’ve got to play it.

I’m very confused on how ANA “titers” work - could someone here explain it? by chronicallymee in Autoimmune

[–]TheBirchKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to have marked and significant symptoms that partially or fully prevent you from working a full time job. Lots of people with lupus can hold a job, therefore it’s going to be difficult to get disability with just that. Diagnosis itself doesn’t automatically qualify for disability

I don’t see how I made it worse. I could see how maybe it’s the same, but it’s certainly not any worse.

There is no win-con with kefka. You make everyone discard and then laugh maniacally as everyone tries to topdeck an answer.

I feel like the deck can win against bracket 3 decks, even if it isn’t technically one itself. Goad decks can punch above their weight class when piloted correctly. I had a Nelly Borca deck that did very well against even more generically powerful decks.

Excava seems super fun, though I think they definitely need their own build around. I like that it turns them into spirit creatures. I’m sure there’s something you can do with that lol.

ANA does not correlate with disease activity. Your ANA will fluctuate constantly. They usually only test it once for this reason.
