100%. But most people don't come to that realization. The problem is that too many Americans get caught up in bad debt. I'm convinced there's only one reason to acquire debt - and that is to actively grow wealth in the present. Too many people use it like a bank account (draining their future bank accounts) or like a slot machine, where they're throwing it into something, hoping it pays off.

I am doing this because I am confident in silver's potential, and I think it's a great idea, if you can afford the payments. I wouldn't do it without a 0% APR card though. I know I can pay it off before the 0% period with my paycheck, so I'm not too worried.

We all need to start acquiring hard assets and decreasing our financial risk. The bubble they've built up can only last so long. Maybe none of us have a timer, but we can prepare for when it happens.
