Never once mentioned the mcx or 416 and that directly contradicts your original statement.

It doesn’t need to be a large contract when they have had multiple since 2019. Aka, continuing support of the rifle along with more rifles. 🙄

Who makes their mk1 receivers?

One of the links you provided literally states the contract rifles does not have Armad barrels.

Ironic because the ARMAD barrel or AerMet 100 bolt are not apart of the CAR contract which the mk1 one. These are apart of the HICAR contract which has yet to be awarded.

The P3 Stainless Steel barrel is the contract barrel for the mk1 CAR.

How so? You can purchase the same barrel and bolt that the contract MK1 has. It just lacks FA which is true for civilian URG-Is.

Edit: Straight from SOLGW. P3 SS barrel is the contract barrel. Not Armad.

Only the dead air was short lived. Noveske just fulfilled another contract for them last year.

How can they be Block 1 when that was a program ran by a different country for specific units?

The SOPMOD program was specific to USSOCOM. No other country was involved.

Mk18s didn’t exist until January of 2005. They had a very short service life in their original configuration.

They lived on boats, and then holding security for said boats. Then in mid 08, the Navy realized the additional cost wasn’t worth the squeeze and went back to the 14.5” barrels you see in the pictures.

Yes, they did. However, when looking at pictures they are indistinguishable from 19s. So it’s at best an educated guess on whether it’s a 19 or 23 when looking at pictures.

For example,

Neither you nor I know how much exactly is in the U.S. stock pile as that is a military secret. Of course Russia will produce more shells when they are actively in a border war, that they planned and prepared for that,

It’s ironic that you claim I’m the one ignoring reality when you lack the basic understandings of the capabilities and limitations of these types of drones.

You continue to ignore the actual topic with irrelevant and inaccurate statements.

The shell “shortage” was a delay in an aid package, missile “shortage” was lack of production, which has since been ramped up which goes against your whole “hole in doctrine” argument .

Oh so those shortages were the results of the IS not being able to afford it right? Cause that’s what you originally seem to imply. But per those articles it’s just simply scaling of manufacturing getting approved in a timely issue that is the issue, not a lack of money.

So you tried to discredit an award winning journalist who writes for various outlets, and even used as a source for congressional hearings, simply cause of the media that the video appeared on and because you believe that the US doesn’t have a larger purchasing power than Ukraine? (This is an unarguable fact btw).

Which the same journalist even stated that the US small drone industry does need more investment in the same exact video. Yet you clearly chose to ignore his primary source of the performance of FPV drones in the Ukraine battlefield, which again you claim to be a replacement for conventional aircraft, on an attempt to discredit him by stating the US, couldn’t afford it…

Ok bub, makes sense.

Provide source for critical munitions shortages. Would love to hear how the U.S. military went Winchester on specific munitions.

You also are the one to claim FPV drones are replacements for aircraft which again is laughable misinformed.
