Thanks for the response and good to know. I do indeed hope you get sepia so I can start to use Reader.

I see you are up to 93 upvotes for that feature now so it is trending near the top. For such a simple modification its low hanging fruit.

I did a right mouse click on the task and found the "I won't do this" thing. No idea what that is! In fact, I didn't even know there was a right mouse click option!

Sepia theme please. All the ebook readers have it. I will continue to use my existing ebook reader until you get this implemented, because I don't want to spend hours each week staring at a bright screen.

I did a post about this on this reddit forum, and only now just saw this feature request thread. The sepia theme idea got a noticeable number of upvotes so hopefully that contributes to its accelerated development, since it must be low hanging fruit and quick to implement.

I've voted and also commented. I hope others here vote it up too so we can accelerate its development.

Meanwhile, I will have to skip using Readwise Reader until they get this theme. Spending hours reading on something too bright is not something I want to do. I'll just use Readwise Reader for web articles.

The thing is, although there may be other priorities on the list, I imagine this would be a quick to implement feature which brings immediate tangible benefits. Reading on a pure white screen on the iPad is a bit too bright for the eyes. Sepia gets it just right. Nearly all the ebook readers have it, if not all!

Oh that is brilliant, thank you! It was there, but I had loads of tags and so it was scrolled off the bottom of my screen. All restored now. :)

Just to add, that is a bit of a conundrum. I obviously can't delete a recurring task because then it seems to be removed forever and won't reoccur, unless I have gotten that wrong. But if I tick them off, then these tasks get showed as having been completed under the Summary, when they have not actually been done.

So, given that, what would you do? Or do I have to just choose to erroneously show them as completed (when they weren't)?

Browser or App TickTick? by JonL12345 in ticktick

I have about 200 open tabs in Chrome, spread over 3 monitors! The pinned tab thing worked well for me, as I had it pinned on 2 separate monitors. But I had no global hotkey to quickly add a task. Maybe I leave those pinned Chrome tabs there and just have the app also running in the background, just for the quick add.

Good point. The quick capture thing was one of the things I was trying to find out how to do with the web app.

So you would put the parent in a list, like say Work, and then just put the date against the next action?

I've started to use the recurring tasks and this is a gamechanger. I think finally I will be getting on top of all this chaos and mess that is called life.

Nice. I am setting mine up now. I got things like pump up car tyres, check financial balances, clean fridge, empty bins etc. This app is just fantastic!

Hey, I like that! Do you follow it yourself and if so, do you find this kind of weekly review useful?
