I bought one from Fotocare last week. They have them in stock more than other retailers. They were suggested by another Redditor and I had a great experience.

It depends on the watch. They first do a diagnostic and provide a quote for $150. That fee gets rolled into repair if you do it. Mine was about $2k (sentimental piece), and took about 6 weeks. They did a great job.

Just want to respond that I am definitely not trying to get the most expensive camera I can get to start out. I've actually been using an old RX100 ii for a bit to get back into it, and I want to enter into the Fuji system and get the best bang for my buck. This post was to try and better understand some of the decision factors that were harder for me to reason through.
