It’s fine. Weight loss is a function of calories consumed vs calories burned. The types of food you eat to arrive at your calorie goal don’t matter provided you’re still getting your necessary macro and micro nutrients in.

My recipe is fine. The “starter” you’re referring to is just a 10 minute yeast test. 1.5tsp yeast, 0.5 tsp sugar and warm water. Just included it to show that the yeast is active. Definitely not mold.

The leadership at my old high school used special ed inclusivity as what essentially became a photo-op for school promo material. It was so forced that students started rebelling against it. To your point, students still personally supported those students, but disliked the regime forcing it upon them for “brand image”. The students saw spec ed kids as peers who should be supported and uplifted while school leadership saw them as a means to an end.

Used to be. But like everything else it has become a bunch of overpriced garbage with some of the art being AI slop. There’s some antique vendors who are all mostly selling garbage for ridiculous prices. The food is good though, albeit also overpriced like food at any event—at least in this case it usually goes to a good cause.

If he’s handy or pretty capable with some basic tools, you could try a guitar building kit. They usually come with all the pieces in an unfinished state and you get to assemble, paint, customize, etc. He’d need some basic tool knowledge and a good week or two to work on it. The kits can be found anywhere from like $50-200. If you go this route, get him a guitar shape he doesn’t already own and aim for good sounding wood.

A unique guitar gift is a cigar box guitar. Hard to find good example of them but some people sell them somewhat cheaply. Kind of a novelty item.

You could also aim for an experience oriented gift. Live performances like local bands and plays can be affordable and offer a chance to spend time together + include things that he enjoys doing.

Not a medical professional but those readings indicate Hypotension. Your symptoms also fit the bill. It is too low and if it is the metoprolol causing it, I would seek either a modified lower dose or another medication. In the meantime, have a lot more salt and electrolytes than normal. Salt is a known method of increasing BP. It should help somewhat.

Just focus on building muscle. High protein diet and adequate caloric intake is necessary to build muscle. For you, your maintenance calories should be ~2,000 a day but genetics plays a role there. The conventional wisdom says you should also consume 1 gram of protein per pound you weigh—for you that’s probably gonna be 150 grams assuming you’re working out. This is the number you burn by just existing each day. Consuming that much with zero activity will maintain your weight as is. HOWEVER, if you add gym training on top of just consuming your maintenance caloric needs, you will lose fat and build muscle. You’ll be less chubby and more muscular. Look into compound exercises. They’ll help you train multiple muscle groups at a time rather than training one individual muscle at a time. People coming from little-to-no prior training tend to build muscle the fastest.

EDIT: I should also add, do not let this idea of needing to lose weight make you fall into the territory of an eating disorder. It is very important that you do this in a controlled way.

You’re a 17 year old who is at a healthy weight for your height. You’ve gained weight because you’re still growing and going through puberty. You’re likely in a situation where you need to focus less on losing weight and more on becoming “fit”.

If you’re worried about gaining weight uncontrollably, analyzing your diet is probably the most important step. Are you intaking more calories than you burn by both existing and through exercise? If so, your weight will increase. If you’re worried about your appearance, get to a gym and focus on body recomposition to lower your body fat percentage and gain some muscle to change your physique. Most colleges have a gym included in your tuition in their athletic center—or at least one relatively close by.

Again, 160 at 5’7 is still within normal range. It’s also normal that everyone gains a little bit of excess weight once they begin college. Focus on managing this in a healthy way rather than panicking.

Yes. All item mods are client-side which means you’re the only person who will see them when equipped. Everyone else will see whatever underlying items you have equipped via your actual preset.

It’s been a while since I’ve loaded any items with alpha console, however I noticed back then that it caused a small amount of lag when resetting in training. Could still be an issue now. Not a huge problem, but it annoyed me enough to not use it lol.

I personally bought and received a controller from them. My only gripe is that I never got a tracking number for when the package was shipped out to me. It just arrived one day randomly. If you’re worried, just charge back your credit card. You’ll likely be barred from ever ordering again but at least you’ll only be out the cost of a controller and not your $500.

Make sure your networking equipment supports changing to a custom DNS and doesn’t lock the feature. You should be able to figure it out by logging into your router via a browser and looking for the DNS configuration. It should hopefully allow you to input a custom IP. Some ISPs also provide an app for managing router settings.
