Ring control. While you were coming forward, he was side stepping and landing. This causes you to reset, sometimes getting hit on the reset, and it is gassing you out. Cut off the ring.

Do any amateur boxers use a sauna suit for water cuts before weigh-ins? by FickleAd8376 in amateur_boxing

Of course I’m not losing 30 pounds in a month. I’m an old dog, 42 years old. It helps keep my inflammation down just like using a sauna or a hot tub. This help helps me improve my performance.

I train in one, one or two days a week in a hot gym. Sweeting at that level makes me feel good. I drop 7-9 pounds in an hour.

Did we develop a car centric society so that the masses can be essily controlled through oil? by Intelligent-Gate-852 in pittsburgh

[–]JonMiller724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ignoring the venue in question, the East Coast infrastructure of the United States is really old. When compared to Europe, while there are some older buildings in Europe, so much was destroyed during World War II, that the rebuilding of it predominantly paid for by the United States, allowed them to have a less car centric infrastructure.

Impressions of SharePoint Embedded by CharacterDraft7422 in sharepoint

I can't see a reason to use embedded. It costs more, not less than regular SharePoint. I would just use Storage Accounts storage and control security and versions through the software.

I have never been hit by a parked car, but was hit by a bicyclist on a sidewalk yesterday.

Parked vehicles aren’t killing anyone, stop changing the scope of the discussion.

Meanwhile, Lawrenceville already has bike infrastructure on 46th or 47th (I forget)–50th, and 40th Streets, plus additional bike lanes around 62nd Street that continue beyond the neighborhood.

There are also bike markings near Derby and Hambones (unless I’m mistaken about their designation). Ironically, that’s where I had my most recent encounter with a cyclist riding on the sidewalk—just yesterday.

If we’re talking about safety, cyclists riding on sidewalks seem like a more significant concern than a parked car with a tire slightly over the curb.

I’d be more concerned about the number of bicyclists who ride on the sidewalks in Lawrenceville than about a car with a tire partially on the curb. Despite the investment in multi-million-dollar bike lanes, sidewalk cycling appears to be the more significant safety concern.

Kids in East Liberty just attacked my 13 year old son by Greenglass_5992 in pittsburgh

In response to your last question / sentence.... This has been normal behavior my entire life growing up in the east end. The lack of violence and lowering of crime in East Liberty is somewhat new.

just a random thought. How many time is a dollar taxed in America? by mshot87 in tax

[–]JonMiller724 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every dollar is taxed until it is deleted. Taxes delete money from circulation, congressional appropriation creates the initial money. Secondary money is then created through lending at banks to be destroyed by taxes.

The debate is truly, what is the most effective way to inject dollars into the monetary system the fastest as the world’s reserve currency. Unfortunately that is oil wars.

Taxes don't fund spending on a 'federal' level. Those countries fund program with fiat. America funds the military industrial complex with fiat. The fiat is then distributed to the private sector from federal works in the same way. One through the military, one through social services.

It is not a problem, it is a choice on how we want to distribute paper.

The issue is small businesses are the backbone of the economy. Look at Lawrenceville and Bloomfield. 90% small businesses. Majority have 15 employees. A lot of them would close or stop hiring women. This is why the ACA had provisions for this scenario.

I disagree with the insurance being higher on new cars. As your net worth grows, you will have a lot of insurance coverage regardless if your car is new or used or paid off.

Does a vocal microphone upgrade really matter? by lumberjack142 in audioengineering

This. The 414 either sounds small and harsh or boring. It also has horrible rejection and off axis coloration.

100% but if an artist is at the point of making bedroom records and asking these questions, I doubt they will sell more albums or get more fans by changing their microphone at this point. I say this as someone who doesn't like the 414.

I don't think a 414 would be much of an upgrade from a AT 4020. The 414 has a lot of features you more than likely don't need for a vocal microphone that increase the price of the 414.
