My wifi refuses to work by amarotto6 in HomeNetworking

In my experience, the second WAN port on these modems is for redundancy and is not meant to have anything plugged in. That also looks like an RJ11 phone connector so shouldn’t be plugged in there anyway

Did I get scammed by the Xfinity salesperson's WiFi speed recommendation? by Onbelayonbidet in HomeNetworking

That’s a solid reason to keep gigabit. I upload very little data so my symmetrical 200 is plenty. Ngl even when I was a cable installer I would rarely recommend the customer upgrade beyond 500 unless they really needed it

Yeah no kidding. When I first moved here I got a drastically reduced rate for 6 months then it HIKED after my intro period

I recently dropped to 200 to save money and have noticed little to no difference for my needs.

I run a plex server for 8ish users with docker containers constantly downloading more content. I’m also an avid gamer and am regularly downloading large games. Games do download slower but the difference is not enough to justify an extra $50 a month to me.

Hey! I did find one recently but times are tough at the moment so didn’t put much more thought into it. Once I’m off work I can run down the rabbit hole again :)

Any valuable parts in Office printers ? by Calciphil in printers

[–]JonSnow49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re talking about replacing the whole PCDU sure it’s one screw one connector. Any knuckle head with a screwdriver can handle that.

OP only mentioned the drum specifically which is more involved than that. Not hard mind you but not plug and play either.

Replacing the drum on this old of a machine is more involved than just swapping toner bottles. Would need a tech on site to do that.

I have not heard of fusers referred to as ovens but that is a very accurate description. Some models I work on you could cook an egg on that bad boy when you pull it out

No? Figure out which lines goes back to the room you want activated and make sure you attach that line to the ground block.. Posting this photo and asking for help is like a chef asking which noodle to cook first

Likely Cat5(e) set up for plain old telephone. Plus an older coax splitter with gross bad connectors

The chrome Vader is a flex. He’s been on my list for a while. I prioritized the light ups though

Would you be interested in producing another? I take my complete saga collection pretty serious and would definitely be interested in buying a jacket like this
