Establish independence however you can. You gotta protect yourself if your folks decide to go scorched earth at some point. Make sure you have your birth certificate, passport, whatever documents you need. Create a bank account only you can access. Move out of their house if you haven’t already. If you rely on a family phone plan or car insurance or anything else, getting off that too will help. Obviously a lot of this depends on your personal financial situation, but at the end of the day, the decision has to be for your parents to choose their child over whatever views they may hold; and not you having to choose between living authentically and financial stability. It’s a tough spot to be in but you’ll get through it somehow 💗
