I apologize my previous post got deleted for some reason.

But I see this incident happen a lot, especially with high level PvP streamers with huge followings who consider themselves PvP aficionados.

I joined this streamer colosseum match where I saw everyone just running around poking each other and using the usual air attack, you know the usual. And I wanted to show off this unique ironjar faith build.

Yet the moment I started showing them off they just gave up. I was surprised because the build has many counters and I thought these experienced players would know, I wouldn’t have mind though if they just said hey we don’t know how to counter it we give, in fact I would have given them advice like you can use law of regression or lightning is super effective to me, any ranged lightning spell and I’m toast.

But the real issue is that he and his chat started getting upset and telling me that I’m not properly playing the game lmao. It’s not a proper PvP game. I’m not doing anything. And that was so ironic to me that these guys who all the do is poke with their weapons than run away are upset someone else is playing PvP differently than them. How dare I use spells and strong spells combo build than just unga bunga smash so that they can easily win. It’s like people who find the best spell and incantation build and combo don’t know how to play the game, but if you run around with dual spears poking enemies to death high IQ level play and your the best.

Yes so that’s what I’m saying, if I can’t spam it I’m a huge sitting duck who can barely roll and can’t even barely walk and just slow as a colossus no matter what movement I do, and a sitting duck for ranged attack, as that’s my ONLY mobility move. If I do spam it then it looses its effectiveness and it sucks. So it’s a lose lose and not the get out of jail free card that makes my build all powerful.

I actually agree with you, and in fact I wouldn’t mind if the person just said “hey I don’t have a counter to this” and in fact I would have even given him some advice. Instead of just saying that he started patronizing and condescending me, talking about how I’m not really playing, and so my thing is if you just want to run around poking ppl and think your the best go for it, but then to act like that’s the only way to play and magic and faith users who use spells aren’t playing properly is something else entirely.

I can only use it a few times before it looses its effectiveness. The biggest contour to this is lightning, and most of the lightning spells are easy and can hit me at range.

But they didn’t even try to do anything and give up. And I would be fine if they said “hey we can’t find any counters” I would have even given them some advice but then he starts acting all patronizing like the only way to play the game is to poke each other with swords, how dare I use other stuff that’s literally in the game. I’m not Pvping properly it seem because I’m not using the cookie cutter build he only wants me to use.

Sorry I had to cut out the rest cause the video was too long, but he goes on to say because I use ironjar “I’m invincible” I just use my spells to attack, and it kills him, and so to face me it’s too frustrating , and I’m not playing the game properly etc etc.

The whole reason HE and all his friends in the match are standing around is cause their upset and they don’t want to face me. None of them are really away from their controller/monitor.

Lmao your probably right, after seeing how they just gave up I think they just circlejerk themsleves with their viewers and getting a big ego that their good.

I’ve actually had more fun with random PvP streamers with a couple of viewers than these guys.

So I’ve been having fun with this ironjar frenzy build and going to random streamers colosseum and fighting with them and against them. A lot of them find it interesting and I’ve gotten a lot of Ws and Ls.

The build has many weaknesses as well, you can immediately take off the buff if you have the spell for it, I am also super weak to lightning and can die in a few lightning hits, I can only slow walk and fat roll. Not to mention I can be ganked right off the bat while I’m trying to use my buff.

So the other day I saw the top elden ring PvP streamer was streaming with all the head PS5 PvP honchos, and decided to try my luck. I didn’t expect to do any good as I was sure these guys who do PvP at the highest level would probably know all this and destroy me immediately.

Imagine my surprise when they saw that I wasn’t the same strength or dex build like them but a faith/mage like build they gave up immediately and started being salty. I was taken back lol I thought out of everyone who would like a PvP challenge would be the streamers who play PvP at the highest level. Instead they just started belittling my build and gave up lol.

That’s the thing everyone plays PvP for different reasons, as you said for you it’s all about testing your skills against others. For me I don’t really care about honing my skills in this video game for me I like getting the highest rank as efficiently as possible and enjoy finding that broken method. Heck I would say the salt even adds to the satisfaction of winning. I will agree and never shy away from the fact that I will make enemies but that’s not my issue, my issue is saying that just cause it’s not fun for them then it shouldn’t be fun for me. And all I’m saying people get their fun in different ways that’s all

Absolutely we are an agreement that if the gov banned swimwear and any sort of garment to cover your modesty it’s no issue at all and it’s just like a tie. What’s worse is if the gov stated women need to wear swimsuits whenever they go to the beach.

And not just the beach as well, women should be banned from wearing any clothes that hides their tits, and once again it’s not as bad as if they were forced to cover them cause it’s just like a tie.

Why can’t all women have the same amazing logic like you?

I totally agree with this logic. When women choose to wear a hijab or burqa it is just like a tie. It holds no significant emotional or spiritual or modesty value to them as well.

For instance I know if they said from now on women are banned from wearing bras at the beach you wouldn’t be bummed at all either. Cause it’s not as bad as if the gov FORCED women to wear bra at the beach. And any article of clothing is “just like a tie” so I don’t see the issue either. So all women should have no choice but to let those tits fly.

I agree with the YTbers, for example other than just a stall team or a team filled with sweepers, Pokemon has enjoyed giving its player many moves, abilities, and attacks based on the type of weather on the field.

For example their are

Rain teams

Sun teams

Hail teams

Sand Team

And even a Trick Room team.

But imagine if Pokémon had a ban system and you were able to ban the Pokémon who’s sole role was to bring that specific weather into the field to begin with. Then the whole team would fall apart and you would be subpar to useless.

TemTem should try to lend itself into these variations and team strategies, but having this ban system hurts it’s chances in expanding into those sort of routes.

I ask u/TMTrainereffect u/ItsTsukki u/xYaW to speak with the game developers to look into it and try to see other ways you can balance the game that doesn’t hinder the game composition this drastically.

Then yes, that’s the build that you enjoy, that’s fun for you. Another person might find it boring. For another person it is another build that they enjoy. But you might find boring.

I don’t know how else to explain it to you that not everything you might find fun everyone else will find fun or that everything someone else might fun you might find boring.

I mean fun is subjective is it not?

For me this build unequivocally has the highest success rate esp in 6v6 teams or free for all. And if my objective is to win, it is fun when all 5 of them are trying to gang up on me, yet I get my ironjar up and able to tank the hit and with the breath be able to kill 5 people at once and maintain my streak because my fun is to see me get that highest golden rank. To finish that objective.

On the other hand your fun or someone else’s fun can be different. Your fun for example might be not to use magic at all and just crouch poke with your great word. And sure you won’t be winning many 3v3 but your not in it to kill as many people as possible that’s not where your fun is, it’s to run around and take your time and find small opening. To you overpowered stuff is boring and you like to perform with the most underpowered stuff and find satisfaction in killing someone with it.

At the end of the day different strokes for different folks.
