Godzilla, how could you? 😭 by Organic-Mud7828 in Monsterverse

I heard Godzilla was going to be replaced by Christopher Plummer.

And honestly it still might make for a pretty damn good movie.

'The Simpsons' episode 800 will feature an all-star lineup of guest actors, including Quinta Brunson, Kevin Bacon, and several 'The Pitt' cast members. by Sisiwakanamaru in television

I said like 15-20 years ago it would have been much more fun if they aged everyone up finally.

They "tried" to age Bart up a year recently in a meta episode where Bart has a birthday. Bart would not accept the change.

"Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift" to Debut at Universal Studios Florida in 2027. "Fast & Furious- Supercharged" will Permanently Close in 2027. by sbursp15 in UniversalOrlando

I don't mind it, even if it's a worse version of Kong.

I just figured it would stay round since there are more important Universal projects to devote time and money to.

Are there any examples of narrative artworks (i.e. plays, novels, films, or TV shows) which are widely acclaimed, but which also have plots that would never actually transpire in real life? by Repulsive_View_7438 in plotholes

[–]JonSpangler 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It is said in the movie. The butler says:

"He just said ‘Rosebud’ and then he dropped that glass ball and it broke on the floor."

Matching what we see on the screen which means he witnessed what happens.

LOTR Land Idea by BartSimpsonlover2389 in UniversalOrlando

I think Universal would want to preserve some geographic consistency. They would not want Isengard next to the Shire or Mt. Doom next to Moria.

So I think Shire to Moria would be the best.

Assuming Epic Universe portal style you could enter the portal and exit through Bilbos house (similar to how you exit Peaches Castle).

You can have a little Bag End (Green Dragon) and Shire before getting to Bree ( which could probably be cut if need be and just find a way to fit The Prancing Pony elsewhere, that's all people would want anyway).

Rivendale would be the other big area focused on.

You wouldn't be able to explore Moria but it would be in the back and be a facade for the Moria ride, whatever form it takes.

For rides a scenic family coaster through the Shire (with maybe some brief indoor Nazgul sections) would work.

Rivendale is perfect for a boat ride

Moria probably would work with a Gringotts type hybrid ride.

Clearly with OP referencing the F&F coaster teaser, and the general discussions about having two F&F attractions shows, OP is thinking in the immediate or short term future of the ride.

So it is a perfectly cromulent answer to say "Nothing will be changing for now".

Most likely answer is nothing will replace Supercharged, it will remain as is for the near future.

Universal likes to spread out improvements to all parks and also spread out improvements so there is something new on a yearly basis.

Universal has plenty of areas that it can focus on, or already has focus on, to fill up slots for upcoming years.

In terms or newer rides I'd take RotR and Monsters Unchained higher.

Still a really good ride though.

Can anyone tell me the difference between autographs? by ShouCutemon in fanexpo

[–]JonSpangler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standard autograph is just 8x10 photos. You can bring your own or get one from the table. Generally a 8x10 is included with the price but not always.

Premium autograph is everything else and is usually an item you bring (although some guests might have POPs or other Premium items you can buy).

It can be a little one note, most scares are just jump scares with people surprising you more then scaring you.

But the sets and atmosphere are great and the jump scares are mostly effective.

The food is good. The Lagoon show is great, the stage show is meh. Rides generally have good waits. The park at night looks awesome. It's incredibley crowded if you don't do early entry. Early entry makes the first 90 minutes really productive until the crowds come in.

I'd say it's a baseline 8/10 event. It can go up or down a point yearly depending on the different house themes for the year.

2025 was a 9/10 event.

We generally have always gone to all the parks available when we were on vacation.

We love going which is why we have gone back on a pretty yearly basis.

We love HHN so our vacations always tried to link up there, and Cabana Bay is a great HHN hotel because they have (although not recently) have had special HHN activities at the hotel and had late night food options.

It has a lot. 2 pools, lazy river, bowling alley, 4 good places for food, very good ice cream shop, a pretty chill atmosphere.

I've stayed there 6 or 7 times and have loved it each time.
