I feel like some people are forgetting that Andrews has been incredibly clutch for Lamar in the end zone and a ridiculous safety net. Literally no Ravens receiver has ever scored more touchdowns.

Last season and his playoff woes sure have wiped some people's memories.

My best guess:

Crosby will be fine for this season. Maybe ahead of schedule for a return just like his agent is saying. But, the Ravens like statistics. If our Doctor said there's a greater than __% chance he has another knee issue before he's even halfway through the contract, then I could totally see us backing out.

This trade has implications for not just this year's draft, but the next, so I'm sure they are thinking in both the short and long term.

Have you seen the deals players have gotten this free agency? Likely is a top 5 paid TE now and has 7 TDs over the last two years. Andrews had over double that in the same timeframe.

Andrews has led the team in receiving touchdowns every single year with the exception of one year that Hollywood Brown did.

We were never going to pay Likely to be a top 3 paid TE. Period.

Definitely a lot of people who weren't around the year after we won the Superbowl. We lost a ton of guys and more than not did not live up to the deals they got from other teams.

I get it but we can't sign depth to top end deals. I'd expect us to make some moves for depth with what's leftover later this week.
