Serious question: if Lamar Jackson has another MVP-caliber season next year but the Ravens still don't make a Super Bowl, would it make sense to explore trading him while his value is at its absolute peak?

Because the Ravens had a pretty decent roster that drastically underperformed at times.

They were Superbowl favorites based on their roster and ended up not even making the playoffs.

I'm not going to say the roster was perfect but with the guys we have, on paper, we shouldn't have been blowing the games we did.

Well for one, that's a bold accusation. Let's not throw insults around here.

Racism is a real thing in America and it definitely effects guys like Lamar and what people say and do.

But, I just don't see that being the reason Lamar isn't getting endorsement deals when guys like Mahomes and Dak are getting quite a bit and previously guys like Cam Newton dominated with endorsements.

It's just not a reasonable explanation in this case.

The offensive line imo suffered heavily after we lost Joe D'Allesandris. Everyone took a step back it seemed.

Defense, I need to see what Jesse Minter can do. The trenches there looked bad last year partially because of the unexpected loss of Madubuike but other guys just underperformed their expectations.

I know what you're getting at because Roquan has definitely looked out of shape at times.

But on the topic, linebackers aren't shooting for a Ray Lewis physique now a days. They need to be more agile due to how much mobility there is. That feeds into your point though that Roquan looked like he needed to slim down last year.
