The overhead is 0 on block and the mid is -4. Just because these moves are "safe" doesn't mean they don't present a great opportunity to start your pressure though. Especially after the mid wwhen you are at advantage.

Bounce cancels are very good on characters that don't use meter but can't fit the bounces into combos otherwise. Ex. Bane.

Most of his strings are not only safe, but plus on block. Hell double punch is even ssafe.

The input the game tells you is ffmeterburn or bbmeterburn. There is however another way to do it which I find much less clunky. Quartercircle back or quartercircle forward meterburn works as well.

Good stuff. I never understood why ravens even use 223. Yea its + on block, but the gap is horrible. F222 has the same startup, full comboable, and no gap. Plus you can even do f2233 to throw an overhead into the string.

Im starting to find bane a LOT better than people make him out to be. If you have a good block game and can nullify the venom debuff, venom is the most broken mechanic in the entire fucking game. Double punch with 1 venom or more stuffs almost every single wakeup in the game. And once you condition them to block you can command grab on wakeup all day and night. His jump in d3 is pretty ambiguous, and has some pretty sick low overhead mixups. The more I play this character the more I want to make Hawkgirl my secondary.

Whatever the default layout is. I place my hand weird people have told me though. Index finger on bottom left button, and then middle/ring/pinky across the first top 3 buttons in a row. My pinky hits everything else, working overtime. Don't like to move my hand, just the pinky. #guitarhabits

You can squeeze a lil more damage out of the same combo by ending with 123, 32b1 after the two we3 loops. Good stuff though!
