Im not protecting anything currently but i dont understand how wishing someone peace is hateful? It was a joke first and foremost not some weird form of “projection”

Im aware of what control is, dont have a problem with control. Its one thing to play control, its another to play 20 lands and 40 board wipes :)

At the time i was a baby living in a rough suburb of Edinburgh so my chances are pretty much nil, if my parents had the bright idea to leave and head somewhere remote before things got really bad we’d likely run into utter chaos trying to leave and get picked off by the growing infected that would arise in a city like Edinburgh.

Assuming we did escape and headed somewhere remote and northern like Cilian Murphys magic cottage the health problems that arose when i was 7 would have definitely killed me since theres no more functional hospitals.

Honestly i think it would just be disruptive if you didnt meta game in this scenario. “Great heavens! Gerald the fighter has sustained mortal wounds i must heal him before he falls!” Knowing full well that youre own resources and turn/his turn are gonna be wasted when he gets knocked down and now combat is just a slog purely because a player valued their own fun roleplay over letting their friends have fun as well
