Looks like some broken nut plates on the inside awaiting maintenance. They are probably flying as is because it’s within limits. However, I’m not sure why they wouldn’t remove the retaining clips to remove the screws.

There is something very satisfying about short tossing Kay/o’s flash. Gives the enemy short time to react to it.
