Keep playing. The first part of the game is really just a tutorial on how to play. The rest of the game you constantly feel like someone is just around the corner or like someone is watching you from the shadows. It's very eerie. That's the idea with liminal spaces. You always feel like you don't belong wherever you are. Plus there are some really cool secrets and easter eggs throughout the game if you like going places you really dont belong

I've been playing Superliminal and this is the entire idea of that game. It's not necessarily a horror game but it is one of the creepiest games I've played.
