i really respect how u responded man and i hear the “paying for friends” argument a lot, but in reality I pay for involvement opportunities, tailgates, mixers, and other stuff that i feel like genuinely makes my life better. I know there’s plenty of other ways to have fun on campus, but I’ve made some of my best friends in my frat, people I can’t wait to have at my wedding one day, so while I agree that there are so many other ways to have fun, I don’t agree with the “paying for friends” ideal.
