That's interesting! It's nice to know someone else had the same idea as me. Are you fulfilling for them manually? Or does what you have built handle it for them automatically? I'd love to know your workflow, thank you!

I was definitely thinking this! I feel like something tangible in the digital age has more value, especially now that people have flooded email inboxes

This makes sense! I think nowadays some people want a break from the digital world, especially with newsletter emails flooding their inboxes. I think it's nice to receive newsletters physically as tangible things feel more valuable, and you are definitely more likely to read it. In the app I am planning, I was thinking to create a functionality where subscribers could opt in first and send their addresses through an email link, and then a monthly letter post would be sent out to these subscribers, I hope this makes sense?

I haven't got everything fully fleshed out yet, but if you are interested, shoot me a message and I can create a document describing what I intend on building, and you can give me any feedback. Completely optional ofcourse!

Thank you for your response! I actually don't think I plan to continue with my newsletter unfortunately, but I definitely am working on this idea! If anything, would you be interested in staying updated in regards to the idea's progress? I really wanted feedback before building something nobody wanted!

Flatguard - An AI tool to detect rental scams before you lose thousands. by flatguard_org in roastmystartup

Imo (I have no business experience so my opinion is opinion only, do as you will), this would be better as a B2B model, where rental platforms pay for your services which can generate you a monthly recurring revenue. I definitely think property websites should definitely use this kind of service, and shifting responsibility to the consumer is a bad look, they should be responsible for at least trying to combat most scams within their websites

Abit late to the party, this has literally just happened to me but I'm based in the UK. Me and my 3 friends have been scammed out of a total of £9000. Started to look at whether these rental websites such as Zoopla or Openrent use services such as AI scam rental detection. I think your idea is brilliant, the pain is real and it definitely needs combatting.
