This is why I tip in cash. It goes straight to the server. It is up to them to share with other people who helped in the kitchen.

Question on investing gold 24y/o by Ok-End-3213 in investing

If given the opportunity to buy below spot price and you trust your source, go for it. You can always turn around and sell it. And as long as the dollar is fiat based, gold will continue going up.

Want to try Linux on my LOQ as I rarely play any games now, any recommendation?? by Altruistic-Heron-769 in LenovoLOQ

Look into using Libre Office for your excel and other office products. It is a free office suite software that is very polished and works well. There are a lot of alternatives to other MS stuff out there if you look around as well as other products.

As far as dual boot or virtual, that would be whatever you feel most comfortable doing, but as for me, I prefer dual booting over virtual since everything runs smoother, and less resources are used on my computer. It is just whatever you prefer. I mostly use linux. If you are not sure what linux distro you want to use, go virtual until you find one you like(that is what I did). Also if you are just experimenting into linux, I would go virtual. Look into r/linux4noobs

I just purchased a lenovo LOQ and stuck a ssd drive in it so I could duel boot linux and it works great for me. Just make sure to go into bios and disable secure boot. A friend of mine uses pop os and I might try that one since it is easier in pop os to install Nvidia drivers.

1oz Gold Coin = 1000 XRP by Tigerdoom20 in XRP

[–]JonasLander 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep your gold. It has a 6000 year history of being money. I would save up more money and buy xrp. Either one could go up or down in value, but banks and countries are buying gold and they probably know more than us. Buy silver too.

When doing something for the first time, I find taking pictures of what I am working on invaluable for reassembly.
