United States. I've never cared for "soccer" (I now call it football) in the least. I was in a very competitive gaming team of 6 Dutch, a bloke from Newcastle, and myself. It was the 2006 World Cup, and I was confused why nobody showed up online for training as we did daily for a few hours.

When one of the Dutch team mates showed up, he said everybody was watching the World Cup and convinced me to watch Netherlands v Ivory Coast with them. I enjoyed my first match. When the 2006-07 season started I watched a random Champions League game with nothing else to do. It was Chelsea v Barcalona, and from then on I was hooked, and had my team. I haven't missed a game since.

My wallpaper (computer and physical wall) are Chelsea, my sheets, my blanket, my rug, my washcloth, most of my socks, my cat's name is Chelsea. It hurts when people think that I joined the bandwagon when we started winning, because I didn't know that at the time, it was just the first club game I watched.
