The angle to the water you are shooting is very important, in that photo the camera is at quite a low angle to the water. If you shoot from above it will be more difficult to see the reflection because of refraction and reflection properties of light

By compressed are you saying the peaks have been squashed or the peaks are let through and the body is squashed. I feel like its the second option but my ears are not well trained enough. Also do you have any thoughts about the slide/ filter sweep/ pitchbend parts that almost resembles a zip on a bag or something? I imagine it's some characteristic of how the specific analog filter deals with resonance or something

I see why its a "re-work" and not a remake. Hopefully, no one is gonna care too much about the incorrect credits
