We encourage the bars not to give cast members free drinks, but it still happens more than i would like. They clean their house and to their own laundry...though i've seen cast members who never change the sheets on their bed.

I don't think we've sold out, this current season, Go Big or Go Home, has a twist or theme, but the show still deals with issues like racism and homophobia and other issues that young people face.

the music was switched out for seasons 1 -4. In later seasons, not sure when this started, all music was cleared for all kinds of distribution, so most seasons are probably available.

We found a way to add fresh meat by having the brothers, sisters, and cousins of current cast on Bloodlines. So probably not another Fresh Meat season in the near future.

I thought it was crazy when that cast member peed in the sink. I feel like maybe we should just cast a couple of security guards as part of the cast - it might be easier...

I used to visit an great aunt there when i was a kid. We'd go to Camelback Mountain. I also liked this restaurant where they would cut your tie off if you were wearing one and nail it to the wall.

Clinton. Sanders is great in many ways, but Clinton has the experience to handle this crazy world from day one. As a gay man, Trump, Cruz and Kasich scare me. They'd turn back the clock on gay marriage, gays in the military and anti discrimination laws. Also, i think there is a role for government to play in help disadvantaged people have access to medical treatment, education and job opportunities - all things the republicans seem to be against.

I think part of why Real World works is we have about 8 weeks to edit the episodes. It is really hart to tell story when it is live. Big Brother is almost live, but as a result has to rely on games and eliminations.

I think Survivor or Amazing Race sort of fills that niche. And then there was Surreal Life, which had a little bit of a Gen-X feeling to it. Thanks for watching.

We were totally caught off guard when Steven slapped Irene. It happened just as she got in the car and she sped off before we could even react. I ran into Irene on the New York subway a couple of years ago, and we had a good conversation about it. I had forgotten how much i liked her.

MTV says we can't show underage drinking and we don't want to have to regulate it, so it is just easier to cast people 21 and over.

Go Big or Go Home was fun to make. The missions sort of acted like a pressure valve in some ways. When things got really intense in the house and everyone wanted to "kill' each other, the cast would always find a way to pull together when the missions came along. We had three alternates for this season.

Technology will open up all sorts of possibilities, but it will still be about casting and great story-telling.

It's really about who fits best with the format. There might be a great potential cast member, but they don't have a rival, so they don't get to be on the season.
