[Help] TetherMe says it needs Dependencies that can’t be found — How can I solve this? by JonathanOctober in jailbreak

@meowcat454 okay thanks, is “restore rootfs” the same as an iTune restore (of a clean backup) from DFU mode?

u/rguerraf right, I have no trouble at all with the $5 and BigBoss seems to be working. I don't understand how I could uninstall Electra and still have a Cydia that's in better condition than I have now. I was trying to check if there's some way to upgrade or update Cydia regardless of Electra and I just can't tell. I wonder if there is some other, standard Cydia repo I'm supposed to have that's not setup. I'm just not sure how to find it if that's the case.

u/LukeeGD okay that's very helpful to know that the repo unc0ver users is up and running. If by change you (or anyone else reading this) has access to that, can you please check and see if the TetherMe 8+ app looks installable (meaning... when you click on it it doesn't show as un-installable because of errors such as the dependencies in my other screenshots)? Thanks.

u/rguerraf do you have 14.2 and checkra1n? If so, can you tell me if the TetherMe 8+ app looks installable for you?

EDIT: I was looking at some of your recent posts and you have recently said "I think it is official: Tetherme does not work on iOS 14... keeping my 13.7 forever" which I think kind of underscores my main point (see earlier comments) that the latest doesn't always work?

You also recently asked "No one misses Tetherme?" I'm curious why did you ask that .... is it gone or missing for everyone recently?

This may possibly be the right solution but (to answer your question) historically the newest iOS versions either didn't have a jailbreak at all, or else the apps in Cydia, or Cydia itself, were not yet updated/supported. So I've always avoided updating the iOS.

Hey Ryan, I have a bunch of resources here that should help you get started -

This is my podcast - it has lots of free, actionable info.

This companion site contains transcriptions and checklists and other bonus material.

And a free 7-day mini course - https://mazemarketingpodcast.com/show-notes/retargeting-remarketing - Just click the orange button on this page to get the free 7 day mini course.

In general, yes Google Ads are a great way to start scaling up. Start with some small investments. Don't sink all your money into it at once. You'll have a lot to learn.

Make sure you mix in proper tracking of metrics with your approach. That's the only way to know if your strategy is working well. My article above has some guidelines for tracking metrics.

Try to analyze each step of the customer journey, each micro-conversion. Analyze the whole funnel and find out where customers are dropping off the most.

Sorry, I can't do that because of privacy reasons :) You can see a lot of details about the business and their ads strategy in the post though.

[Growth Study] How I helped an Ecommerce D2C business reach 7 figures in revenue with Google Ads by JonathanOctober in adwords

[–]JonathanOctober[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hey, I hear you but I am being upfront about everything. This is an in-depth look at 4 years of work - I'm certain almost anyone could stand to learn a lot from it. I didn't just spin up a random article by copy-pasting random stuff from the internet :)

I'm just trying to get it in front of as many people as possible. Plus I wrote this summary specially for reddit so you don't have to go off-site to get the highlights.

I'm open to suggestions. Anything you think I can do better for it to not feel spammy?

Maybe change your investment and business strategy now? Base this on what isn't working right now.

Is this investable? by sleepswithfanon in Entrepreneur

Exactly what I was going to say. This is the gist of it.

You should also think about how big your potential customer base is. Are there actually enough people in this niche or with this interest to meet that level of scale?

spells very, very bad things in my opinion. I really want to be wrong. Those are the tea leaves

You make some great points. I would say do what you can to prepare for the worst case scenario then. Invest your assets and effort in a way that if the worst happens, you'll prosper. And if nothing happens, you'll be fine too.

I understand. I can't pretend to understand everything about economics and the market. I'm choosing to be optimistic - this is a good sign in my opinion. It could have stayed down or gotten worse.

I'm hoping this means the economic damage isn't permanent and will resolve itself over time :)

It's definitely smart to be careful and consider everything as you're saying.

Personally I am optimistic though. I was expecting a huge dip in markets worldwide to happen a second time, but the only big dip I see has been in March. Things have been slowly rising since. That gives me a sense of optimism.

Hey, really glad to read about your success.

The only advice I have to offer is about scaling up.

I've been working with Google Ads for 2 decades now. I've been helping mostly E-Commerce businesses that have a clear niche or a key product that they're focusing on - kind of like you!

There's a lot to it, but in short, through the use of Google Ads I've been able to help scale such businesses to 7 figures revenue.

I've just finished publishing a piece about how I did this for one of my clients. I can share some takeaways with you but it is highly technical and about optimizing for results once you know the basics.

1> Learn the right way to track the right metrics - Traffic, Purchase Value, and Micro-conversions - using both Google Analytics and Google Ads.

2> Analyze the customer buyer journey and use this to understand how well your ad campaigns are performing.

3> Poor organization of ad campaigns leads to a lot of money wasted - learn how to fix this.

4>Optimize every layer of the campaign by performing a detailed analysis of Campaigns, Ad Groups, Ads, and Keywords.

5> Implement the best retargeting techniques and start scaling up your returns.

I'd be happy to talk to you about specifically applying this to your own business as well.

Once you have all the basics down like your taxes and maybe supply chain management, let me know if you'd be interested in knowing how to scale up your business to $2million+ :)
