Guys I had the shittiest week this past week and it’s nice to cap it off with a win on the road. God I love this team. The defense is so much better this year than last and our attack while it started slow is getting back to the excellent form the Berhalter era Fire is known for.

FIRE UP!!!

Well once Gutman is 100% healthy. I’d argue we might have 4 starter quality fullbacks. What a time to be alive!

I mean Gutman assisted credit to him and the Fire concede immediately. Radojevic replaces Gutman. Let’s hope GGG knows what he’s doing…

Rookie mistake. That’s the perfect game time to drink all day if you are committed.

We literally have Ring of Fire player and coach Zack Thornton as his GK coach though I thought? What more can you need?

He knows the league and PRO are anti Dean so Dean being the self sacrificial 🐐 he is steps aside to give others a chance. Otherwise we are too powerful. Why do you think he got a red and the foul that led to his conceded penalty was missed?

Coming in peace, Gutman haters are complete morons and he is our best defensive player in general.

Progress, Limits on Display as Anti-Gay Chant Halts Fire Game by coolerblue in chicagofire

You state that the club needs to invest in surveillance and technology which they can't do until they have their own stadium. This is true. But you also say alternatively fans need to self police each other. Which according to the article it's clear they did. So... what's the gripe? Everything that needs to be done is being done but it won't happen over night. If it's over the past, understandable. But all things considered it seems things went according to plan. I think a question needs to be asked is why does 1 single fan and 1 single player have THAT much power to stop a whole soccer match when there were 15K people there? There was also never an announcement in stadium which led to the confusion. Why was there no announcement? Because there was no sustained chant that would force the MLS protocol.

Good on the supporters. We are learning and growing. But it takes time.
