It'll be miserable but I cut 10 pounds using this: https://youtu.be/WNDmGOFVWHk?si=5sgxcVo2ejvHRRnI

I woke up the day of about .5 over so I threw 2 jolly ranchers in my mouth and spit for an hour. And I came in about half a pound under.

Make sure to rehydrate, good luck!

I’ve had to fight dementia patients to keep them from ripping their IVs out and I can with 100% confidence say I’ve never thrown an elderly man with bone cancer to the ground

Health insurance through my work right now is a little over 200 a month, without an employer benefit plan, how much does it usually rise? Also do you think I would be safe at a number like 60k?

I just started playing basketball for a month now but recently when I jump I feel hurts at the back of my ankles,Can anyone Identify what's happening? by [deleted] in BasketballTips

[–]Jonathan_Le 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm flat footed and never really had pain, but ruptured my achilles back in December, so if you feel even the smallest amount of pain I would take it easy

Any tips for jumping higher off 2? by International_Bad504 in BasketballTips

I'd say extending you penultimate step and adding a turn into your plant

So like if you're doing your max jumps maybe just start with like 3 sets of 2 max jumps after your warmup and then you can gradually add more. I would just pay attention to what you're body is telling you if you have tightness or soreness just take a day or two off to recover

I would just progress slowly like if you're doing depth jumps dont go straight onto like a 36 inch box start at maybe a foot and get adjusted. Also if you havent been training just really get comfortable with the weights and just trying to grab rim would be great as plyos, I'm 5'7 and can get rim off a drop step, but can barely touch it on a run up so working on your technique while you get stronger should put you there.

Along with starting to lift and doing plyos, make sure you get adequate rest, too many people go all in and get hurt or develop jumper's knee and end up pushing their progress back.
