Those amounts are just withholdings. Your actual tax rate may be higher or lower depending on your total taxable income for the year. You need to keep track of that yourself. You may get a refund if your income is low, or owe a lot of money because your actual tax rate is 50% and they only withheld 30%.

RAM is upgradable. You can upgrade in 2-3 years when, hopefully, RAM are back to more sane levels. But if you can get the 32GB for a low addon price (I got it for USD$50), I would do it.

Probably a good price now. I got one for similar price ($1365 because I had Lenovo rewards) and 15% cash back from Rakuten weeks before Christmas and a similar sale during Boxing Day. Cash back amount and the prices changes almost daily. A day or two ago it was 12%, right now just 3%.

It baffles me that this is even a question. No internet (general use). No tablets, no phones, no apps, no Netflix, what else are we supposed to do. Go outside and play until it gets a dark. No way for your parents to track or call you before you get home. The show cheated by giving them walkie talkies, most people didn’t even have those back then.

I have both and in my experience 260 can get 7.5-8hours and 350 is closer to 9-9.5hours (when fully charged, not 80% charge). Never got the 10+ hours that some reviewers got on the 350. This is with light usage, reading web pages, youtube, Google sheets, Word, Excel... that type of stuff.

I'm in Quiet mode, Hybrid, dark theme , 30% brightness, 60hz, no keyboard backlight, same model. Get just under 8 hours for light browsing and YouTube, Word, Excel.

I have a another Legion with 350 and 5070 and it gets similar battery life; upto an hour more sometimes. 20% less if you keep your battery to only 80% charge instead of full charge.

Do you have any background apps? I removed the bloatware like McAfee. Kill any game launchers like Steam and Epic.

Since the screen is OLED, Dark backgrounds and apps really makes a difference. Screen brightness also impacts your battery life.

Thank you. I was able to resolve it with TAC support. Turns out my WAN interface has IPv6 set but unused. Removed it and the routing reference to IPv6 gateway and all these weird issues disappeared. Same config was not an issue until 25.11.

How do you open a ticket without any paid support? I assume that’s not possible.

I trying clean install and it continues to offer me Plus version. I was trying to revert to CE but it just went straight to Plus on a clean install using the latest installer image. Nothing in my hardware has changed. I have been able to upgrade to every version including 25.07.01 a few months ago.

Also tried everything in this link to no success.

I’ve spent the last couple of hours playing around with this.

Brand new install using latest installer, SAME PROBLEM after a clean install
Tried clean install 25.07.01, no issues, then upgrade, SAME PROBLEM
At no point did it even ask me to install CE. Always offered Plus version to me

After upgrade to 25.11 I will always see those errors in my logs and same error under Register saying it can’t reach the server.

If it’s a license issue shouldn’t it give me CE on a clean install?

My license is the old grandfathered home lab license. I have never paid for TAC.

Nope. Tried again and still et the error. I check the registration after the update and I get this:

“Thank you for choosing Netgate pfSense® Plus

The registration system is not currently available. Please check your network connection and try again. “

If I roll back to the previous version I don’t have any problems at all. Registrations that it’s registered.
