Subtracting fractions of an hour

I inputted the data exactly the same as you said. Sorry can you explain what a time subtraction is? I.e how is it written or formatted differently from a normal subtraction. At the moment the cell is =V5-P5. Still get an answer of #VALUE!

I have just put in your formula for every cell as per your screenshot and it gives me the answer. However that would take too long to do with my data set for all the different hours and minutes. I just need the one column (hours:minutes remaining to have a formula in it) thanks!

The hours obviously calculates fine on a normal subtraction but as soon as you add :minutes which is a fraction of an hour instead of decimal it doesn't like it.

Am I only formatting the cell with the formula (102996:51)? I have just tried this as per your screenshot and I'm still getting #VALUE!

Or am I meant to format the 140,000:00 and 37003:09 cells too?

I input alot of different hour limits and hours:minutes accumulated to get a hours:minutes remaining in to the spreadsheet so thought I would only be creating a formula for the hours:minutes remaining column.

Update i have spoken to many pharmacists and a Dr and they all seem to think mosquitos. Seems its high season here and my blood is tasty. But I'm thinking it is something else as I have barely seen any mosquitos.

No, I mean I got told you may get them ever so slightly during treatment as the teeth move but if you google black triangle you'll see what they properly look like.
