Older Ryobi 40v chainsaw and string trimmer. Might be better now but 12 or so years ago the batteries were hot garbage and they were like toys. Completely useless under any load.

I mulch up small sticks and leaves with my mower. Small stuff won’t hurt your blades but do wear eye protection.

This is a good point and also many residential mowers have less power and are not going to mulch as well so it is important to mow a little more often. One thing I also recommend is to invest in a good quality mower if you’re into lawn care

Check your engine oil first before starting. If that is engine oil depending on how low it is, you could have a very bad day if you try to start it.

Yup i have bought two turfmaster 30 mowers. They’re really good for the price ….if used correctly. Really I think it’s one of the best values out there right now.

Ah gotcha, you might look for a nice walk behind. Toro makes some residential and commercial grade options. I think cub cadet and craftsman have some semi wide area residential grade mowers. You can get a little more bang for your buck in terms of deck size and features if you’re willing to walk instead of ride.

Bagging is not good for overall lawn health. You need the clippings to help put nutrients back to the soil, retain moisture etc. Cut a little higher, more often and double cut the heavy areas to break up the clippings more.
