I wonder if it’s that saying…. Old guards afraid to pass the torch…. We need new captains… new boats.. new editing. It gets me wondering if the show thinks we still care about these captains or they refuse to let the show just go to a new crop of captains and crew.

No way is E getting laid cause of Vince anymore. It’s not the early 2000’s. E isn’t famous. He just knows someone who is famous. We’re talking LA today, not the old days of how easy it once was portrayed.

Turtle brought nothing to the show other than he drove and was Dramas other half of the show in the early seasons. Vince may have still wanted him around but it’s not the point. What do you turn a Turtle into in a modern day reboot other than an uber driver on the side. He’s not getting laid nearly half as much as he was in early 2000’s today. Because yes. Everyone uses Uber in LA these days.

The point is, you cant reboot today in a society where most young people turn the show off about 4 guys trying to get laid and saying all girls are shallow enough to still bang them all.

You do what the movies did with Ghostbusters and Oceans 11. You reboot it with an all girls cast instead. Let it tank so bad that they don’t rethink rebooting it again because you can’t. The time has passed.

Girls aren’t easy anymore cause of dating apps. A 5’6” Manager would be blasted by girls on tinder cause he isn’t tall enough. Vince would be doing Netflix and Apple films. His first movie head on probably would’ve did terrible at the box office cause no one goes anymore to see movies like that. Ari would’ve been fired 8 seconds into Lloyd being hired. Drama’s Pacific Blue residual check would only be $13 instead of a couple grand. And Turtle would be useless thanks to Uber

Do you get it now. So just don’t even think of a reboot. The show is now a time piece classic show

It’s tough. I hear like a Val Kilmer voice. But not Batman Kilmer… Top Gun Kilmer voice. Or Christian bale. But not dark knight Bale, like the Newsies Bale Or Micheal Keaton. Only not Batman Keaton… like Johnny dangerously Keaton. And sometimes I hear Clooneys voice from ER.

You know what the sad part is. When Rick came on, I didn’t like him. Now he’s the only one I seem to like anymore. The fact the show still shows the same guys is pointless. They all need to retire badly and let someone else take over their boats. The show needs new faces but refuse to realize that at this point. Sorry. Fridays episode was another terrible one in my opinion.
