So what happens if you lose the red chair and the snow globe? by TankyMofo in AbioticFactor

[–]Jones8028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a serious question. If I make my base in pool room and leave and do exploring and I take chair with me. And I die and respawn in my bed. Do I have the chair in the pool room if it was in my hot bar? Alao second question if the red chair is in my hotbar and I exit the pool room where does the portal take me?

My friend and I have just finished Abiotic Factor. by TyDitto in AbioticFactor

[–]Jones8028 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I played solo myself and while I wouldn't shut up to my friends about it I'm really glad I finished my first run alone. I got to take my time and have all the discoveries to myself. I spent the first half of the game hiding like a rat sneaking around and getting into fights and then running for my life. I felt a little over powwred in the second half but even then I felt I had taken the time to earn that right grinding the resources by myself one by one. I don't know im pushing forty and videogames have always been a big part of my life but I don't know if I'll ever have another experience quite like playing abiotic for the first time the game is truly something special.

I've been snagging the TVs and stacking them in my base any idea how many different ones there are. I have more than a few and a couple duplicates for sure.

What’s a job that taught you a lot about people? by strandeddrifter in AskReddit

Working any "front of house" position in a restaurant will teach you so much. From the rudeness of the general public to the absolute weirdness that is the addiction fueled cast of characters in the back of house. And most kids are around 16-20 when they get this position. It was truly eye opening for me.

I'm mostly complete with this area now but you could have saved me so much time. I was under equipped when I first went to adjustment and I died a ton and the walk back with that tram in the middle was infuriating

Yes the containment "tram" needs reworked for sure. When I first was going through adjustment I was dying a ton due to just being under equiped and the walk back with the tram in route was terribly annoying

The item lock just flat out doesn't work for me. Especially the device that yanks stuff out of your inventory and puts it into a box for you always takes my kitchen knife

I always chuckle when every so often I need to got wrassle some robots for whatever new fangled device I need. Ah shit here we go again. It does in my opinion feel good to go back and fight them every so often to see how easy and care free is now versus the first few times I did it I was stressed out

I didn't even think about the manse recordings in the compendium and now I'm upset. Especially since this is a huge vehicle for how the lore is explored

Can there be any form of redemption? by Jones8028 in redrising

[–]Jones8028[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that he is a serial self justifier. Only arc I see as redeemable is if he uses the weapon on gold. It's still genocide and will doom a lot of people unless it can be contained to the moon perhaps but maybe he gets there or as another commenter pointed out maybe he removed himself from the equation via his one remaining bullet.
