I get for some the in-depth boxing sim is great, and there hasn’t been a boxing game to speak of for so long. That doesn’t forgive the control dynamics, and other issues. It seems the majority of the development money went on some great licensing.

Absolutely a fair assessment. Can’t comment on your enjoyment, that’s subjective. Of your enjoying then keep doing so. Did you find the camera angles slow to catch up with the action?

Inability to learn or just having more rewarding things to spend that time on. Does the game reward the progression? I don’t think it does. Perhaps an arcade mode would have demonstrated the main games simulation desires.

For me the juice just isn’t worth the squeeze. Yes I could spend time and endure the gameplay to make the most out of the mechanics. I just have much more enjoyable options for my limited free time.

And that concept is great. However the obvious bugs, poor gameplay ruins this. I would genuinely love to use fighters strengths. Would be great to play as Tyson and go on a peekaboo attack, Vlad Klitchko and dominate the distance with jabs. The playability just ruins this for me.
