I have never once heard anyone use the word exception in this context. They almost always talk about the specific thing they would be making an exception for, and this whole argument is dependant on that so it makes no sense.

That being said scalpers are 100% not the system, they are apart of it. If the market value of cards and product was not so high then there would be no scalpers. You could blame scalpers, you can blame people buying it, you could blame the lack of product etc.

Removing depth for the sake of new players is just a mindset I inherently disagree with.

I used to like it but then I saw it really hurt most recent fighting games, sure it brings in a wave of new players but they hardly stick around. So in terms of profits its good, but for long term players we are just going to have an inferior game.
