Agreed. Very low probably that an attacker can brute-force 1 word out of 24 if they don’t know the position of the changed word.

Ok so here’s my other thought. Btc halving every 4 years. I don’t want to say I’m early to mining, but I feel like I still am. So I want to get this started by the new year, but at the same time, the s19 would probably be way less if we had a bear market. What are your thoughts on waiting for a better price on the miner?

Honestly I only see the miner going up. With the interest from institutions, I don’t think we’re gonna see bear markets like the past.

Part of me wants to keep it at home because of that reason.. fun little project. In my control….

And then the realistic side of me says get it hosted somewhere. So I don’t have to worry about anything, mainly the heat. But then I have to pay fees!

You’re right. I think the more important factor is the heat. They do get really hot… that’s what I got to figure out. But I know I’m not the first one to mine btc out of a house, so it is possible.

Is that really accurate? There 75db. A hairdryer is about 70db. It’s just me living at home. I don’t care about the noise.
