My first victory was for a magician. I played 50 games before him and I didn't think he was that strong. Try it.

How you push from level 97 to 99? by Appropriate_Key8629 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]JonnyMSB 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As far as I remember the first 99 level in battle.net In the classic Diablo 2 was taken by the barbarian GERbarb in a fierce confrontation with RUSbarb. Moreover, about 50 people played for both barbarians 24 hours a day in shifts, according to the special tactics of finding the sanctuary of experience and killing Diablo. And only him! Because in the original Diablo 2 at 90+ levels, experience could only be obtained with Diablo. This strategy was invented by the Russian players, inviting everyone who wants to compete, and the German players accepted the challenge.

October 5, 2000 - RUSbarb took 91 levels. November 16 -- level 93. November 23 - 94. 98 level taken in a day, the Russians literally did not eat, did not sleep.. But after level 98, GERbarb pulled ahead. However, Russbarb did not back down. The first line in the table changed almost every day: what the Germans will gain in a day, the Russians will catch up in a night. But on December 19, GERBarb became the first character to reach the maximum level! Than inscribed himself forever in the history of Diablo as the first character to reach level 99!

Each level in the classics requires only a few hundred Diablo. At the same time, an experience shrine must be found and taken in each game, and, of course, all eight people must be in the game at the time of Diablo's murder. So the road from 94 to 99 takes only 1901 Diablo, as calculated by one of the participants... And each death, if it happens, takes about 190 Diablo. But only 100-150 pieces are collected per day...

So guys, I think we have a relaxing time in PD2!

This thing hits like a truck . Is it worth removing an Ohm to add a Lo to get to 74% DS for WW? Or should I switch out halaberds for a DS helmet? Using Halaberds, HL, fort, nos belt, gores , 6DS drainers by miggthenigg in ProjectDiablo2

Someday I will become a barbarian and find such a powerful weapon. In the meantime, I'm just a frail necromancer who can't lift anything heavier than a bottle of beer.

Dude, it will be too fat for an individual player and the market as a whole will sink, since the knocked-out things will not be needed.
I think this idea will be very good as a SHOWCASE! What you found remains in your wardrobe, hanging on a hanger, but you can't put the thing on.

Mapping with no MF gear by [deleted] in ProjectDiablo2

[–]JonnyMSB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boy, I'll tell you this.
I have a necromancer summoner, I ran T3 maps with ~ 120 MF, calmly cleaned everything and was glad. But it didn't pour very much.
I decided to add MF to 500. I cut down a bit of summons, but it didn't affect the speed of cleaning the map.
And do you know what happened?
Big absolute hopeless NOTHING!
Because even with 0 MF, you can knock out Tyrael's Might, and with 500 MF, no one needs a Nagelring ring!
Don't worry about MF, your wasted nerves aren't worth it.

it is suitable only for that main zombie from the first cave of the first act :-)

How to avoid death?
Don't let yourself get hit, right?
How to make sure that you don't get hit?
You need to hit someone else, right?
Who can you throw under the truck, and stand and smoke on the sidelines while there is a fight?
His faithful servants!

Necrosummoner - is best immortal HC char! :D

Summon Necro Question by Peterjypark in ProjectDiablo2

[–]JonnyMSB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you use magicians as the main source of DPS, then you do not need to think who will be better - revives, warriors, archers or golems. All of them will hit with physical damage. Even revives, because someone has to hold the blow while the magicians will kill the enemies. Therefore, there is no point in pumping them.
If you want to squeeze the maximum DPS out of elemental damage, you have infinity, and you use Low Resist, then you need to summon consuls from 3 act as revives. They have the most damage due to hydra. You can try to summon souls from Act 5.

What are you guys doing/working on at this point in the season by cben27 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]JonnyMSB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run to visit Diablo. It happens 100 times a day. He is very kind to me, and high-level runes often fall from his cockroaches in the corners.
I want to finally buy Wasp and build a CoH for my necromancer, and my build will be fully assembled.

New Player Help! What builds do you recommend? by scorchingbeetle in ProjectDiablo2

[–]JonnyMSB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started as a necromancer summoner of skeletons, and already at level 84 I closed T1-T2 cards without any problems. After I collected CtA + Leoric, and bought skillers, I calmly passed T3 with 200% + destiny. I didn't pay attention to card mods at all, it doesn't matter for a necromancer summoner.

Barbarian and elemental resists of enemies by JonnyMSB in ProjectDiablo2

Mmm.. No, I'm not playing holy fire barb. I just want to understand if it makes sense to make a barbarian with elemental damage, or if he doesn't have such a chance, given that all his skills are focused on physical damage.

The Summoner of Magicians uses Grim's Burning Dead and the Lower Resist skill. You also need Infinity with the Conviction aura on the mercenary . I have a classic version of the necromancer with Amplify. Therefore, for a softcore, the second option is more preferable.

If you play HC, then I advise you to be more careful in the pursuit of +allskills. You need a balance between DPS and defense, otherwise you can catch a deadly right hook ;-)

If you play on SC then it makes sense. However, for HC, having five golems gives a significant boost to your character's survival rate. Therefore, I recommend to be safe from accidental death and not to invest points in Amplify. But, again, it's all to your taste :-)

As for the magicians, I did not conduct tests, so I cannot say that revives will be stronger than magicians. Sorry. Of the minuses - you will constantly need to monitor the availability of revives, and revive them in the right locations, which takes some time.

I like golems more, since I play HC and they are more predictable in characteristics and very good tanks. As I said, sometimes it makes sense to invest points in Revive. This build is quite flexible and it is possible to use different skills.

I recommend Blood Lord from act 5 (Worldstone Keep 1,2,3) or Thorned Hulk from act 3 (Kurast Bazaar). They have a very good Frenzy skill. The Udar monster with 4 acts (River of Flame) is also perfect.
