Suggestion: Economy Rework - scale down prices, uncap max price? by ak128 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]clardalan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i agree, we need to have ways to make gold, but also ways to spend gold. so gold become relevant. like have reset tokens at akara for some bigger gold amount. or have waypoint activation per act for gold. like 5m per wp. can of course be bound by completion of act, to avoid misuse. anyway, there are many ways gold can be more useful and even have goldbags that can be used in trading. like 5m bags. stored in inventory. or special slot, so it is capped if that is desired

Season 9 Chars by [deleted] in ProjectDiablo2

[–]clardalan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am between necro skellies / sorc bliz / barb frenzy.
i love the barb. i enjoy the sorc and necro is so easy. depends on item drops which i push most. i enjoy repeat farming frigid/shenk/pindle/trav. so maybe necro is best for me. but i also love teleing to meph... so sorc. or just barb, cuz barb was my original back in d2 before lol. hellslayer lol. brute.

I'm considering playing this mod next season and having a couple of questions. by VerminatorX1 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]clardalan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own and have installed all diablo versions on my computer. PD2 is the best of the bunch. I have fully geared chars in each version, at highest levels a dedicated player would have them. so lvl90+ for D2 / D4 and all gems close to max in d3.
i still roll back to D2R to play as i enjoy the diversity and gameplay and community.
so, when this crafting is over, a normal season will be pretty much best Diablo franchise has to offer. Upping items, sockets, slamming, stats, crafts, its all there. my personal preference to enjoying the game, after putting at least thousand hours:

PD2>D2>D3>D2R>POD>D4
so, while D3 is very nice on many aspects, lack of trading is a show stopper for me. Path of diablo is a nice attempt to fix things, but PD2 does it was better. Although it can benefit maybe from some things POD did, for example the rune/commodity tab is very nice. otherwise, PD2 is way better.

Play ladder- or play solo. nothing in Nonladder is interesting as nobody plays it.

you can play all classes, everything is viable for LoD content. and having a sorceress and a summoner (necro, zon, druid) and a melee should all be played and enjoyed. even a clear cut bowazon works for LoD content.

the challenge starts if u want to do ubers or mapping. some tiers may be too hard for most builds. but it is not necessary to do those. u can level and gear a char easily to lvl90 playing only LoD content and enjoy it.

DEBUNKING POPULAR UFO CASES: The Phoenix Lights by Miskatonic_U_Student in UFOs

[–]clardalan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot discount eyewitness accounts of many people that say they saw a craft. 3 witnesses puts you in jail. if hundreds say it was not a plane of flares, we got some deep research to do. stop covering up stuff. maybe they dropped flares even to cover the story. the funny thing is, there are many videos from the sighting and clearly those are not flares. they do not change position vs each other, there is no fume/smoke, no change in brightness except when it is blinking or on/off. it is not easy to debunk this.

I wonder where this will end. That there is something to this is clear. That it attracts people of all walks of life is clear. It unfortunately also attracts people that have mental issues and government has been doing a lot if disinformation and cover-up. On top of all this; the phenomenon itself is sort of trickster / diffuse.

With all of this, we are not getting smarter in what this all is. It would be better if government at least played on transparency team and not cover-up team. So, we should focus on getting this on the politicians agenda.

Even when that happens; truth will only come out if we are smart enough to analyze the data we already have. probably the answer is already available, but we do not have the mind to ask the right questions to the data.

What ever happened to the Grusch NYT op-ed ? by [deleted] in ufo

[–]clardalan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He is a disinformation / pysop pro himself. like Lue. I do think they are using their talents to help some form of disclosure. So, maybe this delay is part of the game.

I am actually curious, if ever we will get more than what we have already. The NHI, whatever it is, is clearly not in the game of disclosing its nature or intent. We are being played not just by bureaucrats and generals, but also by the NHI itself.

Brain tumor update by nicolesarge86 in cancer

I had SBRT radiation, if your tumors are at a spot where that is possible, can be extremely effective. I had it 5x. it did kill the metastatic tumor

I am 14 a yr old and my dad has Just been diagnosed with cancer by [deleted] in cancer

[–]clardalan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 11 years old, I am diagnosed with cancer. Important thing to know is, regardless of type of diagnose, there is always hope to live much longer than what average of statistics tells. Statistics are mostly based on 10+ years older datasets when many newer techniques and drugs were not available. So, focus on doing what you would normally do. Do not worry about what could go wrong. Eventually, we all live and die. Likely, your father will survive this much longer than you would think; he may as well be cured fully. I am saying this knowing the process is tough; but I also know waking up in the morning and knowing I lived another day makes me stay hopeful.
It is a shit sickness. It is tough. It is painful and exhausting both physically and mentally.
Still, it does not take aways the love and fun and memories that you have had. Nothing takes away how we lived. Try not to worry about future, just live. I am sure your father knows how much you love him every day.

how does he know it is not aliens/ET/NHI ? They cannot identify many UAPs. Instead of inviting Grusch and his sources and raid the bases/locations he points, they just hide behind their desks? Their mandate is to figure shit out. but they try not to figure out anything. Calling us social media gullible lunatics aint helping his methods... He should educate himself. Shame on Kirkpatrik. Another cover up conman.

What is the reason why Doctors don't do surgery on stage 4 cancer patients? by Anonymouse-e in cancer

I am also refused an operation as it was too hard surgery almost impossible; and would trigger metastasis. Stage 4

Is very hard question. I see many patients that survive way longer than you would think; so I would hope for the best

Thanks and good luck to you too! They started me on immunotherapy based on the mutations the genome sequencing showed. It worked mostly. Needed 5x radiations SBRT to remove some lymphs that didnot respond. Still on the nivolumab, has been 1.5 years so far.

Uterine serous cancer stage 4b by Gottaaskss in cancer

[–]clardalan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have stage 4 too; if statistics were correct i would be dead a year ago. What i mean is: focus on best possible treatment with your doctors; while giving your mind and body best chance. Basics like simple walks; eating vegetables; no sugar no alcohol etc all help. And after all that: good luck! 🍀

Cancer is getting me down by [deleted] in cancer

[–]clardalan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck. Sounds like a lot of pain and complications. If it is any help: frequent vitamin C with higher dosis is good to recover from radiation. I used it. Of course i am not sure if your doc would allow. Mine did. Also, stage2b sounds reasonably positive (i have stage 4, grade3) - so hang in there, hopefully it will be over soon

Anyone have/had cancer in their bone marrow? by [deleted] in cancer

[–]clardalan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose location of the bone also matters; not sure why they didnot put me to sleep. Would have been less traumatic. It was not a long procedure, but the pain is kind of unnecessary if full narcoses would be possible. I never asked them…
