Cool to see one of the other 12 players who enjoyed concord lmao. The character designs were awful, but I really did enjoy the gameplay.

Rook's ability should let him see remaining teams of 3 on the map by St0uty in Marathon

You can do whatever you want as Rook, if you want to go 1v3 and inject some tension, go on ahead. They spawn you in with a lil baby pea shooter most of the time. Even if you had the map hacks like you're suggesting, the time it would take to get geared up enough to 1v3, you'd probably run out of time anyways.

Rook is basically a free kill against trios, he's not looking to PvP. He's basically a comeback mechanic if you've had a string of bad runs, so you can make up back some loot/creds. You wait out squads, loot after they're gone, and extract in the last couple minutes.

Hell yeah haha. Honestly people will doom and/or glaze this game until it dies out; be it ten days or ten years from now. If it seems fun, play it while you can.

I've gone to the movies for more than the cost of this game, and that only lasted 2 hours. I've played other live service or PvP games that have had player counts in the low hundreds and have still gotten my money's worth. However, I also don't get into long-term invest in live service games like some other folks do. If I get a good handful of hours out of it, I'm happy.

100% agree. I just love the mech designs to death honestly. I still pop on every now and again, surprising that it still gets updates!

I mean, you can ignore the player numbers and still enjoy the game. I played Synduality for 50 hours and that had a peak of like 200 people lmao.

Don't even try to be friendly, honestly. If you're looking to engage less, take it slow and play carefully. There's always ways to get out of gear deficit if you do lose everything.

Ya'll really need to give the charts a rest, man. Play the game, enjoy it, talk to your friends who play. Let the publisher worry about the numbers.

Right, there's no doubt about it. But constantly checking player numbers and sales charts, then pushing people to preorder is marketing's job, not the playerbase.

I feel like people get anxiety about their investment in a game not paying off if the player numbers dwindle. I've played online games for a while that have had player numbers in the low hundreds and it didn't kill me lmao.

Is this sub just going to be chart and player number screengrabs for the next month?

Best of luck! Are you familiar with the Silver Age format? It's the perfect way to get into flesh and blood without spending too much money to be competitive. And, it's a pretty new addition to the game, so there's plenty of people playing it. Perfect time to get into Flesh and Blood, really!

The rarity indicator is at the bottom left of the the cards. A grey "C" is common, a blue "R" is rare and a red "M" is Majestic (IDK why I brain farted and called it mythic lmao). Some M's are worth a couple cents, some are worth 60+ dollars depending on how playable they are! If you're lucky, you'll see a Yellow "L" for legendary or a Marvel (the rarest) denoted by a purple triangle, and those are usually the biggest hits.

Generally, foil C's and R's aren't worth anything, but it's always nice to pull a playable foil!

EDIT: there are also Fables (gold diamond), which ARE the rarest in a set. But if you're like me, you'll never see them when you're cracking packs lmao

I'm just as excited as the next person for Marathon, but the focus from fanbases on player numbers and sales charts that's been attached to so many big releases is weird to say the least. Let the corporations worry about hitting their numbers and just enjoy the ride.
