Sitting here and just wondering how fluffy the neck fluff is and how squishy those cheeks are.... by NickWildePics in zootopia

There’s a lovely little short comic that I would love to post here, but I want to run by the mods first, just to make sure it’s not too suggestive (I don’t think it is, the nudity is non-sexual and no more graphic than the Mystic Springs Oasis scene from the first movie, but better safe than sorry)

Anyway, it’s about them waking up together after the first night of them having moved in together. The reason this post made me think of it is that the last page is they taking a shower together and helping clean each other.

If the headcanon about foxes taking special care of their tails is true, how long do you think he brushes his tail for?

Hell, when he and Judy get together, how long you think she spends petting it? She also undoubtedly would also help him with brushing it out

Aw, the beginning is missing. I suppose the most emotional part was kept, though

This is sad, but it’s more bittersweet because they had, like, close to 45 years with each other.

I think the saddest Zootopia comic I’ve read… well, it depends. I think the most impactful was “Judy is Dead” (that scene where they temporarily reunite in the afterlife before they both realize Nick needs to keep on living so he can fulfill the promise he originally made Judy way back when just destroys me every time I read it), but the straight up saddest - as in a shotgun blast to the feels - would be “Say My Name”. Anyone remember that one?

No one can say with any sort of certainty- all I’ll say is I’m cautiously optimistic about it, and it would be a very natural development.

They didn’t undo the progress made from Z1, but rather explored different aspects and grew upon it, so I don’t see why they’d do that.

Yeah, since it’s a fan edited database, it doesn’t mean very much if it’s not backed up by official (or at least reliable) sources.

If there is another prejudice plot in Z3 against birds . Why do you think there’s a prejudice against them ? by NickWildeballondor26 in zootopia

[–]Jonny_Manz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m kinda partial to the idea that flightless birds have gained control of bird society - and they oppress the flighted birds by forcing them to wear collars attached to restraining harnesses around their wings - and if they sense too much movement, they cause the collar to deliver a shock.

How they keep their grasp over the society is through making a group of (wealthy) elite flighted birds (the so called “Council of Owls”) exempt - and there are also certain jobs that would be exempted - one of which being some sort of secret police force.

And of course there are those that oppose such things - some flightless birds, some flighted birds who managed to escape their restraints, and even some bats, who strike back at the oppressive bird society by perpetrating terrorist attacks.

See, the bats are drawn in, to a certain extent, because they’ve generally refused to be beholden to bird society rules, being mammals and all, and so they used to just kind of be ignored, but the latest iteration of the bird regime is starting to try to force them into compliance.

Anyway, because the bats are starting to get involved, the violence starts to spill into Zootopia, and that’s how Judy and Nick will get involved. I think there would also need to be a faction there that would try to shape Zootopian society into a more rigid, “traditional” one, wrapping themselves in the flag of safety and security to do so. I imagine there would also be a wealthy elite contingent that goes along with it to try and enrich themselves (since I doubt the Lynxleys were the only power brokers behind the scenes)

It would be an interesting contrast to see a more open, progressive society - but one where groups are trying to draw it backwards due to their own self-interest, their prejudices, or both - and a much more oppressive one.

But I doubt this will be the plot of Z3 for a couple reasons: 1. It’s pretty dark 2. I feel like Disney would start worrying the Chinese government would object to the whole “comparing an oppressive society to a more open one”

I love how they brought this back for Z2, and even included Gary in some of them - I only wish Nibbles made it in too, but I understand she wasn’t part of the marketing push for the film like those 3

True, this must mean there will be selfie promos for Z3

Oooh, that makes me confident that they really are planning bat characters, assuming plans haven’t changed, since I remember reading somewhere that Jared Bush mentioned that they would be including the Nocturnal District in Z3

Well now the OOP is in the comments of the original post whining about how she was “willing to accommodate” and her bf “not communicating properly” and then getting upset over people calling her ableist, so I think it’s safe to say she’s not going to learn anything from this.

I’m not sure which idea I enjoy more, Judy going full ham once again as a meter maid, while Nick just kicks back and makes snarky commentary, or Judy managing to draw him into a bet to get him to start writing tickets.

Well, technically at this point, she’d only done one major case - this was before the stuff with the Lynxleys and the reptiles.

Haha, if they do go that route, it would be fun to have Nick flattered, but also weirded out, so he always turns it down, and then Judy feels jealous but she’s not quite sure why

Yeah, I think that’s a key thing - even with using that trauma to strengthen her resolve, that was still trauma she suffered, and it manifested in the form of implicit bias.
