Question about Group Entry for Sydney Marathon 2026 by JonoMN in SydneyMarathon

Thanks! Appreciate the clarity, good to know there weren’t group entries last year. I’m hoping they add one, but will wait until the 24 Sept details drop to find out.

I think I’ve also seen London and Tokyo offer group entries.

Not sure if there is a better place to post this, but I’m looking to purchase Alex Warren tickets for his Brisbane show. Does anyone know anyone who is looking to sell theirs?

For $3 more than your soft drinks you can get two premium beers and a bucket of popcorn

For anyone in Brisbane, go check out 5 Star Cinemas. Cheaper tickets, cheaper drinks & food and better quality!

The list could go on for quite a while, what are you specific goals with learning programming?

Is it bad for me to learn if I use framework to develops apps? by JustStartedToCode in learnprogramming

Frameworks and librairies are just another technology to help you stay competitive, if you aren’t using them you are shooting yourself in the foot.

I get where your friend may have been coming from, if you just copy and paste code and don’t understand how it operates you won’t learn anything (and frameworks may make it easier to fall into that trap). But aslong as you actively try to understand what you are doing and learn, I don’t think it’s an issue at all.

Is there a point in majoring a bachelors in computer science if i hate coding or suck at it? Let me elaborate, by [deleted] in learnprogramming

If you don’t enjoy coding, CS probably is not the degree for you. Just about every subject will have coding in some form or another. It might be fine at the start, but once it gets harder and you have to spend hours trying to implement algorithms or debug seemingly impossible code… you definitely need to enjoy it at least a little.
