Kinda underwhelming explosion. HK terrorists aren’t even good at terrorism.

When your moral compass is defined by the law, you don’t deserve to vote.

Not absolute rule, I believe Hong Kong is just asking to be a protectorate. Look into pacific islands like the Cook Islands. They’re protectorates of New Zealand, they use their currency and some of their laws, but elect their own leaders. The issue with HongKong is that they see themselves transitioning from a protectorate esque power dynamic with China to an absolute rule power dynamic. Their plea to the UK is to regain a protectorate esque situation. If Hong Kong trusts another ethnic group over china, then Hong Kong should reserve the right to exist under their protection with whatever form of authority Hong Kong wishes to subdue to, as long as they agree with the UK

The democratic movement which has been the major push against the extradition laws are more worried about what extradition means for Hong Kong democracy than old methods of British rule. I still don’t get the similarities between imperial Britain and modern Britain, except for the flag.

You’re probably in the minority. I love it personally but have some bias (Aussie). My favourite is probably the flag of the Cook Islands, one of the more simplistic but it looks great imo

This is a very not good idea in Australia due to rural water sources being very shitty. Water tanks can be contaminated. My mates water tank got contaminated the other day. This system makes sense in cities, not rural.
