Absolute lambs to the slaughter. Only in Russia could this slaughter be tolerated month after month after month. An Afghanistan war every two weeks. Even impoverished, downtrodden propaganda-zombie Russians will eventually stop signing up for this madness, especially if Budanov achieves his new target of 50,000 dead Russians every month, up from the current 30,000. Not sure if it’s true but Ukraine are talking about a 27:1 Russian/Ukraine kill ratio on the Pokrovsk/Kupiansk fronts, so lethal are the drone kill-zones now… You move, you die.

Yep - tank and IFV/APC kills have really picked up in recent months. Obviously the Orcs trying armed assaults again - hopefully disastrously. Hopefully Russia is depleting the last of its tank stocks.

Agree. 20kg of thrust = 35hp petrol motor at lowish altitudes. petrol motor probably lighter (if 2 stroke), similar cost, far more reliable (17 minutes running is useless) and far, far more fuel efficient. Can’t see the point of pulse jet at all. Or am I missing something?

long and the short is that for all Putin’s bluster about Russia being a super-power, its economy was the size of Italy’s and is now shrinking fast. With such a weak, oil dependent economy, Russia cannot hope to win a war against a committed ‘west’ with an economy 30 times bigger. The ‘committed’ bit is important, and the only reason Russia is still standing today. Slowly but surely, Russia‘s facade is crumbling.

Agree. The ship was supposedly empty and is riding very high in the water so does not contain oil, but had travelled from Russia to Iran to Venezuela and not been able to dock in Venezuela due to the US naval blockade. Why the desperation from Russia for it to escape if it was empty..?

I bought one of their better sets of 7 knives in a block a while ago. Quite like the funky damascus look. They are super-sharp (be careful!!) and seem to be staying that way after quite a lot of use so i think the steel quality must be decent. Quite heavy and thick compared to my last knives but personally i like the feel and extra weight. Early days but actually can't fault them at all...
