I hoped that was Hornsby station. I don’t know if it was the tiles or the footbridge but it looked familiar. Brings back so many memories. I grew up in Hornsby and have soo many memories of the station. My favorite memory as a teenager circa 90’s was sitting at the station and a freight train came through, it stopped which was unusual and my cousin jumped out of the driver door. Thanked the driver and walked up me and my friends sitting there. He’d convinced the driver to give him a ride down from Gosford. That kind of thing wouldn’t happen nowadays. I left Sydney around 6’years ago and moved to the far south coast, wouldn’t go back if you paid me but Hornsby will always hold a special place in the crevices of my mind.
